Y/N's POV

After all we have gone through last year the final exams are nothing to me.
"Dustin stop it" he was running through the whole house to find things he needed
"I have to pack my suitcase."
"You're leaving in three weeks" Yeah Dustin is leaving for a summer camp called 'camp know where' more nerdy couldn't it be.
"But in my room?"
"You're always stealing my caps and.." he was interrupted by the walkie talkie on my table
"Y/N do you copy?" We gave Steve the walkie talkie as a gift for his birthday.
"Yeah what's wrong?"
"Could you help me with my preparation for the exams?"
"Steve I need to learn too"
"You're smart enough you don't need to" Dustin nodded his head at Steve's statement
"But.." I looked at Dustin who made clear I should go
"Okay I'm coming"
"Thank you so much" he said relieved.

Fifteen minutes later I stood at his front door and rang the bell
"Henderson" he hugged me and pulled me in.
"So what do you have to learn?" We walked into his room
"Everything math, English, history"
"That's a lot" he just nodded
"So we should begin with math" we sat at his desk with all his books in front of us.

"I'm so hungry" he interrupted his work.
"You're always hungry" he stood up and walked down.
I looked around his room as I saw a picture of the both of us at the snow dance.
He's in his grey shirt and black jeans and me on the other hand in the blue dress.
We looked at each other and I remember all the butterflies in my stomach when the picture was taken.
"You looked really stunning" he pointed to the picture.
"Thank you" I felt the heat in my cheeks.
"You don't have to" I didn't know what to response so we sat there in silence.

"You know Steve I'm actually a year under you"
"Nevertheless you know it. You know everything"
"Because I learn Steve. I'm not that smart by birth"
"Of course you are. Dustin too" I rolled my eyes.
"What are you planning after your graduation?"
"Don't know. I'm too dumb for college"
"No you're not. You just not learning for subjects that's all"
"I could work a year and then study"
"Yeah that's great"
"You just want to go to college with me don't you?"
"Of course not" we both began to laugh.
"Do you know what to do after school?"
"College"
"Where? What subject?"
"I don't know where but something scientific"
"What else" Steve laughed.

After four hours of learning we finished everything we wanted to do.
"Do you wanna grab some food?" He asked as he packed his things into the backpack.
"I'm dying for" I exclaimed as he took my arm and pulled me outside.
"I'm driving" I screamed as we ran down the stairs.
"You're always driving" he shouted after me.
"No I'm not" I stood in front of his car as he came closer to me.
We stood there inches away the same way as we danced close on the snow dance.
"You can't if you don't have your keys" he hold them up and jingled them.
"Stephen" my voice grew louder.
"Calm down. Just let me drive you can the next time"
He wouldn't let me drive even if we'd discuss it over hours.
"Okay. But I pick the music" we entered his car and he drove downtown.
"Steve the diner is in that street" I pointed where we should've driven
"We're driving to the mall."
At the beginning of the year the starcourt mall opened and since then all the shops downtown are dying. It's sad because there is so much history of our town and no one appreciates it.
"But I don't like the food there"
"Just one time, please" he turned to face me
"Sight on the street Hartington" he smiled and drove into the parking lot.

"You could ask for a job in one of those shops" we sat at a table in the back of the restaurant
"Yeah maybe you could help"
"I think you're old enough"
"There scoops ahoy is searching. There are coming many girls, isn't that so?" I just rolled my eyes.
"I'm doing it"
"Great Steve." The thought of Steve going out with an other girl makes me sick. It's sad that after all we've gone through he doesn't feel the same towards me, it's disappointing.
"Y/N?" he asked.
"Yeah?"
"You're not finishing this?" He pointed to my plate
"I'm not hungry anymore"
"Okay" we sat in silence until the waitress came back
"Thanks"
"I'm paying"
"You don't have to Steve"
"Shut up" he laid the money on the table and we walked out.
