Y/N POV

One week until Dustin is coming back home. Three more weeks until my last year begins.
Since my birthday I didn't talked to Steve and that will last.

"I don't think he will ever talk to me again"

"No you have to stay positive" Nancy advised

"Ya know Nance I did everything for him and now I'm getting nothing back from him. He always believes we're going through it but this time."

"Do you know who the other girl is"

"I don't care anymore. He will be happy with her"

"I don't know. But I have to go sweetie talk to you in school" she ended the call and I went upstairs to get ready for the band.

Robin's POV

Steve's middle school friends arrived again like every Friday evening.
"Hey, dingus, your children are here" I shouted to him.

He opened the window "again? Seriously?"
Those kids are getting on my nerves. He led them like always to the back of the shop and then to the corridor which connects every shop in the mall.
"They have to stop it"

"I know" he reached the front again.

"What's with Y/N? I didn't seen her in a while here." I said as he made the order of a customer.

"I didn't either."

"Why. I mean before her birthday she was here every day. Did you introduced her to a good looking boy?"

"Am I not good looking" he winked at me

"Not my type" his smile faded.

"We have a band meeting today I'm gonna ask her what's wrong" he looked more relieved than before.

"Thank you"

Out of nowhere the lights went down and we stood there in absolute darkness.
"Shit. That's weird" Steve sighed.

He tried to turn the lights on and off. "That isn't gonna work, dingus" I rolled my eyes

"Oh really" he kept on trying even faster.

Y/N's POV

A few minutes before I have to go and get Robin at the mall all the lights went down. The whole street was in darkness even the houses a few blocks away were down.
That's weird.
Shortly after all the lights were back and I got in my car.

"So what's between you and Harrington." I felt her glance on me

"Nothing to worry about. I was busy and couldn't visit you"

"Is there another boy?"

"Obviously not"

"Steve said he tried to catch up on you but you didn't answered"

"Robin can you leave it?!" I grew angry.

"I'm sorry" the rest of the ride we sat in silence until we arrived.
