"What are you all doing?"
All four men stopped at once, only the mechanical sound of dough-making machine could be heard.
"Um... Baking?" Jungkook said, unsure.
Hobi looked around the kitchen, inspecting the flour sprinkled floor, spilled bag of chocolate chips and a puddle of... Melted whipped cream?
"Taehyung tried shooting the cream in his mouth but chocked and puked it out," Jimin supplied, following his gaze.
"Jungkook tickled me!" The second younger shouted in his defence.
"Doesn't matter who did what. This kitchen is a mess. Just pray Jin hyung wouldn't-"
Jin hyung.
The word made him frown, his expression turning sad.
Others sported a similar expression, any hint of playfulness gone.
"How is hyung?" Namjoon asked softly.
"Asleep. Yoongi hyung is by his side."
A few moments passed in silence, all of them lost in their own thoughts.
"We wanted to make hyung a cake," Taehyung started, a soft smile on his face, "We thought he'd like strawberry cake cause he likes strawberry."
"But then we remembered that he likes strawberry but not strawberry flavoured things," Jungkook giggled, looking down at his mixing bowl.
"So we started to bake a chocolate," Jimin finished, looking at their oven.
"The dough?" Hobi asked, smiling softly.
"Jungkook thought Jin hyung will like some doughnuts to go with his cake," Taehyung said, switching off the machine.
"He'll get a sugar rush," Hobi chuckled, found at their actions.
"Yeah, but I guess he can use some of that," Namjoon said, looking at Hobi.
"Well... I don't know how he'll wake up," the eldest admitted.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked, confused.
"It IS possible that he wakes up a Little."
"Will that be a problem?" Jimin questioned.
"We cannot let Seokjinnie have too much sugar," Hobi smiled.
"Oh come one, it's just one day!" Jungkook pouted.
"He'll get spoilt! And then me and hyung will have to deal with a bratty Jinnie!"
"I'll help you take care of him!" Jungkook excitedly said.
"Of course you would," Jimin laughed at his cuteness.
"Oh shut up you," Jungkook muttered, causing Jimin to laugh harder.
"So you're saying... You're ready to deal with a probably sugar-high extra-bouncy Jinnie?" Hobi raised an eyebrow.
"Of course!"
"Yeah, Jinnie couldn't be worse that a sugar-high Jungkook," Taehyung joked.
"Very funny," the younger rolled his eyes.
