"Are you okay, hyung?" Yoongi asked, as they entered the building.

"We need answers", Seokjin replied, a faint tremble in his words.

"We can get answers later, your mental health is the priority", Hoseok said, looking at Jin with concern in his eyes, "Please don't force yourself, hyung."

"I... I have to do this. I'll never be ready for this, but right now, I'm not scared. And I want to get this done before I chicken out again."

"Are you sure, hyung?" Namjoon asked, still worried.

"Yes", Seokjin tried his best to give a confident smile but they all could see past it, "Let's go."

"Mr. Kim", Dr. Lee greeted, "Please, have a seat."

"I would like my three members to be with me..." he said, gesturing to them.

"I understand, you can all stay", the doctor smiled, a little sad, "I... I can understand why you would be feeling uncomfortable here."

Seokjin took a shuddering breath before he sat down, the three beside him.

"Hyung, we can still go away, reschedule this for another day", Yoongi said, holding his hyung's hand.

"No, I'll do this."

"Mr. Kim, what can I help you with?"

"Please call me Seokjin", he insisted, smiling softly at his therapist.

The doctor took a deep breath, looking down at his table, "I think I've lost the right to be on first name basis with you, lost right to be friendly with you. That's why I wish to stay professional."

"But friendly is good, professional not."

The doctor's eyes snapped up, noticing the change in his vocabulary. The four didn't seem to realize but he has been Jin's doctor for a long time.

"Okay, Seokjin, what may I help you with?"

"I... You know that I was suffering from amnesia?" he asked, looking at his doctor.

Dr. Lee smiled encouragingly and nodded, "Yes, that's what we thought it was."

"But what was it, in reality?"

"I think you all probably know, that's why you're here", he said, looking at everyone in the eye, "It wasn't a typical amnesia; you were just in void, sleeping you can say, while Jinnie took your place."

"Who is Jinnie?" Seokjin asked, "Since when does he... exist?"

"That's something only you can answer", Dr. Lee replied. He felt guilty that it was his carelessness that made things worse for his patient.

"What is Jinnie?" Yoongi asked after a moment of silence.

"Jinnie, what we call medically, is an alter. It means "Alternate state of consciousness". Jinnie is someone who was created by the mind to survive a trauma that the "host", which is Seokjin, went through."

"So he's not a... safe space, kind of?" Hoseok asked, confused, "Like, those who need caretakers?"

"You are confusing Little alters with when someone regresses to a younger age. It's actually normal for people to get confused between the two because Age Regression  is the first thing that comes up when a person searches for "Little"."
