•"Where are others?" Namjoon asked as he sat down for breakfast.
"Yoongi hyung's cleaning his room and Jungkook is... Looking for something in his room, I think? Don't know where Tae and Jimin are," Hobi answered.
"What could he be looking for this early in the morning?" Seokjin asked, voice low.
He wasn't his joyful self these days, words muted and hesitant. In real life he wasn't as confident as his stage persona but he was sure of his actions. But now? He seemed to be walking on eggshells.
But Hobi just smiled, understanding the months of stress and nervousness won't just disappear in a day's time.
"He's unpredictable, you know that," he pointed and sat down.
"Hey everyone," Jimin greeted. He was holding hands with Taehyung, the younger hiding behind his hyung, "Can we uh, talk after breakfast?"
All four looked at their eldest, Seokjin feeling a little nervous at the attention but nodded nonetheless.
"Eat first, we can talk later," he said and all of them nodded.
"Talk about what?" Jungkook asked, coming in the living room. His eyes met Taehyung's, younger's disappointed look made Taehyung feel like the biggest sinner.
"Don't," Seokjin warned, sensing the conflict, "I don't want these things on my table."
Jungkook nodded and sat down beside Namjoon, greeting him with a smile.
"What were you looking for?" Hobi asked, wanting to change the subject.
Jimin dragged Taehyung to sit with him. He rubbed his best friend's back, knowing how awful he must be feeling to be on the receiving end of their maknae's disappointment.
"Something~" Jungkook teased, smiling up at Seokjin.
The eldest rose an eyebrow but said nothing, instead he called for Yoongi.
"Come for breakfast Yoongi, or we'll finish everything!"
The second oldest entered a mere minute after Seokjin shouted that, pocketing his phone.
"Don't eat my food, you brats," he scolded fondly.
"You wouldn't say anything if we did!" Jimin smiled, teasing.
"Yeah, I might just accidentally break your favourite chocker," Yoongi smirked as he sat down.
"You wouldn't!" Jimin exclaimed, faking a gasp.
"Hush, eat now," Seokjin said, smiling at the banter.
Taehyung watched all this with a smile. He wanted to join in, tease his hyung too, but he knew he couldn't. Right now, everyone thought he was against them, and he had to change this before having fun with them.
"Kook pass the salad," Seokjin asked and everyone started to eat.
A vacation, no matter how small, meant the whole bangtan can ditch their diet and eat whatever they want. There were black bean noodles, ramen and many sorts of meats on the table. Everyone was eating deliciously, enjoying this break.
"So, what's everyone's plan for today?" Hobi asked, letting Jimin steal his food.
"Stay in," Jungkook spoke around a mouthful.
"Maybe go to the museum," Namjoon voiced his thought.
"Hyung is in town, so I'll go visit him," Yoongi said.
