You looked at the machine in front of you, feeling the bags under your eyes growing wider. The minus numbers seemed to have grown larger since the last time you had checked and your stomach started growling at the thought of a once again skipped meal. With a heavy breath, you took your credit card out of the devil's hands and made your way back to the spa house. On the way to your temporary home, more like the place you helped out for some small cash, that still gave you a place to safely spend the night at, you came across a newspaper dropped onto the ground and almost drenched in the autumn rain, displaying a page filled with jobs searches. You knew your situation very well, knowing that no employer would want someone with no home or as a matter of fact someone who was living on the limits, but you still hoped, so you squat down to have a better look at the paper. As if fate had put it there the only dry patch revealed just the kind of job you had searched for.

You blinked not once but twice making sure you were not just dreaming, yet when the image didn't disappear tears started to form in your eyes. There was no way this was happening, you were waiting for weeks now to find this sort of a job and now it stood there before you, on a paper which ink smeared most of the writing, yet not the job you in fact needed. Without a care of how gross it was, you picked up the soaked newspaper of the ground and pressed it close to your chest. And as if your luck was on your side today, you knew the street listed, which wasn't as far from where you at the moment. Clutching your jacket and backpack, you ran towards the said locations filled with happy thoughts as you were ready to grasp a new job.

Calming your heavy breathing, you glanced at the bushy entrance to a rather big mansion and glanced back at your small piece of paper making sure you were at the right address. When the words matched the signs, you put on your biggest smile and entered the porch, heading towards the big mansion and knocked on the heavy wooden door. You waited for a good couple of minutes before the door finally creaked and a tall man stood there, muscles tearing his shirt. He held a grumpy expression and seemed impatient. Quickly getting the message, you started to introduce yourself and the purpose of your visit. After inspecting you with critical eyes the big guy seemed to have none of your words as he quickly turned you down, saying they weren't in need of any people and that you most likely got the address wrong.

Arguing and even showing the man the newspaper he still denied everything, but you were not here to give up. Soon probably hearing the both of you arguing outside, another man turned up at the door and when you looked into his eyes, the most fear you had felt in forever rushed over your whole body suddenly making you want to escape as soon as possible. With no more words left, you scurried away as fast and far as you could, finally stopping on a park bench. The happiness you had felt just minutes ago, turned into a feeling of panic, more then you were really supposed to feel.

You sigh and place your face into your eyes, trying your best not to cry. Yet another failed mission and this one was for sure one of the hardest to swallow. Remembering your mother's words, you wiped your tears and ran a hand through your hair. 'When a door closes, another opens' is what she used to say when she was still alive.

In the distance, a figure in a long dark coat walked by when he noticed your mental breakdown. Stopping in his track, the boy starred for a moment before approaching you. Kneeling down, the figure took one of your hands that you used to wipe your tears away and held it tightly. This was the first time you glanced into the blond-haired boy's worried expression. You tried your best to look away and avoid the embarrassment, but none could do, his eyes were too captivating.

"What's wrong?", he asked, rubbing his thumb over your face to clean off tears that still formed. You barely managed to get out two words. There was really no need for someone to pity you right now, yet this was also the first time someone was kind enough to ask you about your wellbeing so, you might as well just tell the boy what has happened in hopes he maybe could at least help you up. So you brabbled on about what has happened to you today, how the men were so rude to you, even though you were at the right address and how you were really in need of a job to survive.

Without a word, the man picked you up in a bridal pose and held you tight as he started to walk in an unknown direction. You were about to struggle out and getaway, but one look at his calming smile and all your worries had flown away. Your mind was definitely screaming at you, put in your stomach a warm feeling brewed, so you figured that even if you would die today that probably would be better than anything you had experienced since now anyways. One last growl from your stomach and you passed out.

Baron was confused as you suddenly had fallen asleep in his arms. He tried to shake you but there was no response, so he figured you had passed out. With a heavy sigh, he bit his lips as he entered his own house, which he shared with his seven partners. St.van was the first to notice the new figure that has entered the house and immediately was about to scold the blonde boy, but he held it in, waiting for a good explanation. Baron sat you down on a bed in his own bedroom, then walked into the kitchen to meet not only St.van but also Lou who was working on some new chemicals.

"So why did you bring her here?", St.van asked, aggressively tapping on the dining table. Baron scratched his head in shame. He didn't quite want to admit that he had unexplainable butterflies for the smaller individual, yet there was also a different reason. "The "X" es know about her. It's too dangerous to let her live on like that. Apparently they had put up job interviews. Do you think they built a new weapon?" St.van pinched the bridge of his nose in stress and started to panic.

"Lou go check her fast. Make sure she wasn't infected. For frog feet's sake!", the buffed man explained and in seconds Lou was already at your body, scanning for possible symptoms of anything that might have caused you to faint like that. "Listen, Baron, we are not a hospital for 'X's victims. You can't just bring anyone here, just because they came in contact with the evil", St.van said. The blond man lowered his head and gave it a good scratch, knowing that he did a mistake, but he had too much of a soft heart to let you there crying on your own and possibly get killed if you were to hang around too much near the enemies house.

"You are an incredible spy and all bu-"

"I have some news!", Lou exclaimed rushing into the kitchen interrupting the speaking man. The attention was now on the scientist at the door holding an expression as if he had seen the undead. Baron was ready to fear the worst as he was the first one to rush into his room to have a check of his own. He was confused as he saw you clearly breathing peacefully and turned to Lou in hope of an explanation.

With shaking hands, Lou lifted a portion of your T-shirt revealing a strange birthmark on your left side of the hip. All three boys backed away. They knew exactly what this meant and they knew exactly they couldn't let you go now. All of St.vans plans of erasing your memory and just drop you off somewhere flew out of the window. Baron's whole body started shaking. There was no way he was this lucky. He bit his lips as the rabbit-shaped mark started glowing. At that moment, a small girl about the age of 12 entered the room, still in her pajamas, holding a bee plushy, looking at your body laying there. Suddenly the little girl's arm started glowing as well and the small dog mark on her upper arm was soon revealed.

"Vanny? Why is my arm glowing?" the small girl asked.

"I'll explain it when you grow a bit older little Cash."
