You soon came to realize that the new family member which you met only a few days ago, was somewhat twisted. Instead of helping the household like everyone else, the same age girl just laid around in her room, only coming out when it was time to eat. You figured she was just a guest of one of the boys, yet she was introduced as if she was going to stay here for a longer time. Deciding to let it go, you continued on with your life, after all, it wasn't really your place to complain since it was your job to take care of the household.
But you soon came to realize that the girl held more to her than it first seemed. Occasionally you would find her in the boy's rooms alone, snooping around the place. It made you wonder, yet whenever you tried bringing it up to Baron, he would only shrug it off, saying she probably tried to get a sense of everything since she had just moved in.
Another red flag was that the girl seemed only friendly towards you when both of you were with at least one of the boys, otherwise, she would just ignore you or even giving you glares, which made you really feel trapped since it seemed that no one believed you or even make excuses for her whenever you brought it up. Things like "She had a hard time before coming here" or "She still needs time to recover" were repeated from each corner and it fueled you. Didn't you have a hard time? You were homeless for over two years and went through the scariest situations, yet you didn't give up on yourself even after such a hard time.
The more time went by, seeing the members clearly favoring the new girl, called Jihoon, your heart would lock itself and soon, you were spending your free time locked up in your room. You started hating the job you once used to love so much. The only thing really keeping you from leaving was your lessons with Cash and your feelings for Baron, which were starting to get harder and harder for you each day, since Jihoon had easily realized the importance of the little girl and had decided to get closer to her and Baron would straight-up lock himself in his room, growing cold every time you mentioned the blonde.
It was on a Saturday evening when you had fallen asleep while writing applications when Lou bulged into your room, in the hope to get a sample of your DNA as he did in the past. It was like the blood in his veins was suddenly ice-cold as he looked at the open job-searching platform. So without consideration for the fact that you were asleep, he picked you up and rushed to his room, throwing you onto his bed, making you wake up in an instance.
"What are you trying to do!?" he yelled and whispered at the same time. You were shocked in your sleepy state wondering not only where you were, but also why Lou was angrily shouting at you. "What do you mean..." you softly said.
"Why do you send job applications around?"
You didn't have an answer to that or more you didn't want to admit that Jihoon was mentally tiring you. While it is your job to take care of the house, you just couldn't deal with the disrespect she was showing towards you and it seemed like she was taking over the life you had grown used to. There has been a lot of times you had been jealous in your life, living on the streets and such, yet you just couldn't understand why it bothered you so much that the new girl got more attention than you when you had promised yourself not to grow fond of the people you were working with. Yet you knew that that promise had been broken after Baron kissed you. You were no longer just a housemaid. You perceived yourself as someone who belonged there and was a part of the family.
"Is it because of Jihoon?"
Frozen, you stared at Lou's carpet not saying a word. "So you feel it too..." Confused you turned your gaze towards Lou not sure what he had actually meant. Upon seeing this Lou took the chair from his desk, which you had recently cleaned and organized in a matter that you knew Lou would know and understand, and sat down facing you. "The rabbit mark you have on your hip isn't just a weird freckle?"
"Eh?", you asked blankly starring into the boy's eyes. " EHHHH?!?! How do you know about my..."
"You passed out and I had to do a checkup on you when you first came here. Do you remember anything unusual when you first met the boys?"
You thought back to the first time you had met each member, for most of them there was nothing unusual, yet you could recall when you first met Ayno, there was a certain glow in his hair which after minutes turned completely black. Lou watched your expression waiting for the eureka expression, once satisfied he continued.
"There is too much to explain right now about what this all means... So please just answer my questions without questioning them, ok?", you nodded.
"When did you see Jihoon for the first time? Was her arm insight?"
"The first time I met Jihoon was in the corridor, she got out of her room the night after she arrived here. That was the first time I saw her, back then she gave me a nasty look...", guilty you turned your gaze to the carpet. Who were you to talk bad about another person's family? You gulped and decided to not continue slandering the girl.
"Ok, did her arm glow the first time you saw her?"
"I-...No I don't think so", you said trying your best to recall anything, but the only thing you could think about was the harsh eyes of the new housemate. What did you do to make her hate you, you literally never met her before.
"I see... so I might be right... She is an imposter."
