Reaper's POV
"Dad how close are we to finding Mom and Palette?" My daughter, Goth asked.
"Geno's location is in three clicks. Wanna give her a warm welcome?"
"You know it." She smiled. "I'll get my scythe, open the hull while I get it." 3 minutes later she was swimming out, her black hair flowing out behind her as she shot out, propelled by her soft grey tail.
"Cap' Cross's ship's approaching, they're asking to board."
"Let 'em come. Don't shoot 'er." I told my crew.
Geno's POV
I could sense another mer. They felt familiar somehow. They were getting closer. I could see them now.
"Mom!" They shouted, they were dressed like a pirate.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Goth daughter of Captain Reaper and his mer wife Geno." She answered.
"I never married a Pirate."
"The ring on your gold chain has a ruby on it." She described my ring. "It's shaped like a scythe. Me and Raven made it for you. Dad has an onyx shaped like the tail of a mer. I saw it only on your finger only once because you are terrified of losing it and the red scarf around your neck belonged to your brother. I love you mom."
"No one is close enough to know that!"
"Just come with me." She growled and grabbed my arm and started swimming towards a ship. She rose above the water and yelled at someone. "DAD!!! OPEN THE HULL!!!"
"HOW ABOUT 'OH RAVEN SISTER WHO IS PRETTIER THAN I WOULD YOU PLEASE OPEN THE HULL FOR A NICE CREAM THE NEXT TIME WE DOCK!?!'" A young woman called.
"AND IF I GOT MOM!?!"
"THEN IT'S OPEN!!!" My captor then dove back under to an open hull, pulling me inside. She swam to the surface of a pool as the hull closed behind us.
"I'll get Dad. He'll be happy to see you and to get out of a meeting with Captain Cross, his wife Dream and their children." She then climbed out and her tail became legs and about ten minutes later she had arrived with the women from earlier and a pirate dressed in a black cloak.
"Hey love." The one smiled kindly but I wasn't falling for it. "Hold my ring, it may restore your memories. I know you don't trust me but at least try to remember our girls." He then handed me a ring with a black mer tail gem stone. Memories flooded my head. It was exhilarating.
"R-Reapy?"
"Yes love?"
"I remember it all."
"I'm glad. Now unfortunately I have a meeting to get back to..." He sighed. "You can come if you want."
"I'd like that."
"There are tubes you can use to get to the conference room."
"I'll be there." I smiled up my husband, my everything.
