This is a fanfiction of a fanfiction I only own this chapter. Not the ideas, characters or story. It's also probably not all that good to read...
Nightmare's POV
I had found Cross again, problem was, he wanted to fight Asgore, so here I was with my twin clinging to me.
"Brother, would you please get off of me, we have a monster to face."
"Right... I knew you were alive jerk."
"Love you too now let's go kill this son of a bitch."
"Alright."
When we got in a young human girl was fighting Asgore with nothing but magic bubbles, but humans can't use magic. Unless she was part monster or Asgore was lying again. Soon we were all fighting the beast minus a few here and there. We were holding out until the human was killed.
Asgore came after me next, I could barely block his attacks. I'm surprised the human girl held out so long. I then make a fatal mistake. I. Tripped. On. Air. I saw a bright light, blinding everyone in the room and when it cleared I saw Dream, but not my Dream. He looked like me, though his eye flared gold. His tentacles jutted through Asgore's body at fatal points. The head, the soul, the neck and the heart. The being then ripped itself from him. Dust and blood splattering everywhere as Dust says, "And the lamb kills the wolf."
The being then turned toward me, a look of relief on it's face.
"Dream?"
"Brother what's wrong?
"First you're a vampire. Second you just killed Asgore."
"I-i killed someone?" His gold eye shrunk in fear. "And there's no way I'm a vampire... I'm mortal and have been since I was born."
"Dream. You were a vampire since birth but for some reason or another your genetics were locked so you couldn't be sensed or access anything that has to do with being a vampire. Your taste and ability to eat food was there and fully intact. It's only a theory on what happened. I'm guessing that after using such a large burst of magic your vampire side woke up."
"You really think that's what happened?"
"Yeah, and I can sense you now. You're definitely a vampire and I'm sure every other vampire here can feel your presence as a vampire." This lead to a series of nods around the room.
"I love you brother." He said, hugging me. "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you to." I smiled holding him close. "So you killed Asgore and freed a nation how ya feel about that?"
"How do you think killing someone feels?"
"Sorry... Error can I take my brother with this time?"
"If I'd known I would've brought him along in the beginning." Error sighed. "I see that I should've from the beginning."
"Thank you sir." Dream gave a small smile. "Can we go home now Nighty?"
"Yeah, let's go home."
