Chapter 13

A couple weeks have passed and I become distance from Reese..

Everyday at work I just do as he says and when he tries to make a flirtatious comment or move on me I ignore him or pays no attention to him.....

I think he is getting the idea that I want nothing to do with him or his crazy ass wife...

Nathan and I become even more close that we are staying over each other houses every other night. We go out every now and then when he isn't working late. At work we even act like we are a couple. I might think we are even official but who knows..

I am siting at home studying because I have class tonight when I get a text. I pick up my phone to see its from Abby.

"I am coming over no if ands or buts about it. I haven't talked to you in a while it feels like and I really have something to tell you."

I don't text back knowing she is either on her way or outside my door. Within me saying that there is a knock at the door...
I get up to see who it is at the door and before I can ask who it is Abby curses at me,"Open the damn door Samantha Grace."

I roll my eyes at her as I open the door and she rushes in.

I look at her wondering a lot of things but I am just goimg to let her tell me instead of asking.

I sit on the couch as she paces the room waiting to tell me whatever it is she has to tell me.

She paces the room one last times before saying," Jeff got another girl pregnant."
I look at her about to snap when she stops me.

"I know what you are going to say and I know its true but I can't get over him. Like we have history and I don't but yet I do want to be with him."

I roll my eyes at her. I mean I LOVE Abigail I swear I do but she can be so freaking easy minded and forgive someone who has hurt her so damn bad.... I mean I just want her to be happy and Jeff isn't the person for that..

I get up and take deep breaths as I try to hold back what I say.

She could tell something was on my mind....

"Samantha if you have something to say, say it."

I look at her," Do you really want me to say what's on my mind."

She nods as she crosses her arms.

"Fine...I think you shouldn't be with him period. Fuck the history you have with him and fuck the past. We live in now and it's seems as if this girl is pregnant he has been fooling around with her for a while. You would be the dumbest person in the world if you say with him and that's just how I feel."

She looks at me in shock,"I..I..I can't believe you said that Sam."

I roll my eyes," Get over yourself you know like I know it's true."

And before I know it we are in we are in a full heated argument.

Just as I am about to say something that it going to ruin our friendship Nathan barges in.

He steps between us as we are hollering at each other still," What the hell is going on."

Abby looks at me before saying," Nothing I just lost a friend..."

I look at her and before I can say anything she is gone.

I mean I know what I said was cold hearted but she needs to know the truth.
Nathan turns to me," Sam what happened."

I look at him," I just told her how I felt."

He stares at me," Sooooo......... That was enough to lose your best friend almost a sister to you over something stupid."
"That's not my fault that she felt that way about what I said."

Nathan backs up," What is wrong with you Sam."

I roll my eyes," There is nothing wrong with me."

Nathan walks towards the door," Well call me when you get your mind right."
And with that Nathan is gone.......
