Chapter 5

I woke up by the sound of my mother yelling my name. I rushed down the stairs, because I thought I was late for school, but I wasn't.

I ate breakfast, dressed myself and went to school. When I arrived, Chase and Payton were waiting for me, but they didn't looked good.

"Hey guys, what's wrong" I asked them, after I hugged them. "what wrong is? Haven't you checked your phone?" they both said quite.

I pulled out my phone, and already saw 30 messages popping up. I unlocked it, and tapped on the notification.
I was shook. What did I just read?

"Aria Cadley, the new girl. Moved from Florida to California, because she was involved in criminal actions. Also, she was in a gang. This gang, was popular for being dangerous and a few of them, also got arrested for several years" I read quietly.

Who the hell found that out? I felt the anger coming up my stomach. I looked at Chase and Payton, but still didn't understood why they were looking this weird.

"b-but why do you look so bad?" I stuttered. "read below" Payton said, and scrolled down.

"Chase Hudson and Payton Moormeier, the unsocial duo. Got transferred from Los Angeles to California, because of being into criminal actions. They both sat several month's in jail, for stealing stuff and hurting people" I also ready quietly.

My face dropped, what the f***.
I looked up, to see Chase and Payton looking at me.

"w-what" I said, "who was that?". They both shaked their head. "we don't know. We've never told anyone about that, did you?" Payton explained. "no! I never told anyone here" I told them.

In that moment, I saw someone familiar walking inside my school. I was shook again. I looked back to Chase and Payton, "I've to go" I said. I walked into the school, and after that person.

"Alya" I said, the person stopped. "Aria" the Alya said while turning around. "what are you doing here?" I asked her. "I just got transferred" she simply said. "why here?" I got angry. "why not? My parents decided to move here" she smirked. "did you made these information about Chase, Payton and me Official?" I asked her with straight eyes. "think about it. You left us, why not making your life worst" she smiled.

"I left you, because I wanted to start a new life. Also, it wasn't my decision, it was my mum's" I explained to her.
"don't worry. I won't be here for so long" she still smirked. "good for you. Or I'll bring hell to you" I hissed and walked towards her.

In class, Payton and Chase wanted to know, why I left them earlier. I told them, but the teacher caught us.
"Aria! Chase! Payton! Shut up, your disturbing my lesson. Leave the room!" she yelled at us. We packed our stuff and went out of the class.

Alya walked towards us, Chase and Payton had to hold me back, so I wouldn't attack her. At lunch, Payton, Chase and me, sat alone. Not even Kate wanted to sit with me, or talk to me.

I saw Kate walking into the cafeteria, I wanted to talk to her, but I saw how she sat down with Alya. I couldn't belive what I saw. She used to be my best friend! And now she's with her!

Chase and Payton saw the look on my face and got worried. "Aria, what's wrong?" they asked me worried. "I'm upset. Kate is not talking to me, since Alya made these information official" I explained to them. They understood me.

After school, I walked home. But I decided to go to Kate's house, to talk to her. I rang on her door, and she accutaly opened it.

"uhm, Aria what do you want?" she asked me. "why are you not talking to me?" I asked, but before Kate could answer, Layla appeared behind her.

"because she doesn't needs anyone who's criminal" Layla said and smirked. "okay, listen you b****!" I yelled and pulled her outside.

"I was here first, you're just someone who needs attention. Get your ass away from my friends and find your own, or" I said angrily. "or what?" Layla smirked. "or you're life is turning into hell" I said right into her face. I let her go and left them.

When I was home, Chase and Payton were sitting in my room.
"Holly fu-, you scared the shit out of me" I said while heavily breathing. "sorry, your mother let us in" Payton apologized. "where were you?" Chase asked me, while I threw myself onto the bed.

"I was at Kate's house, and guess what? Alya was there. God I was an inch away from beating her ugly face" I said angrily. "what did you did there?" Chase said, while facing me. "I wanted to know why Kate doesn't talk to me. But I guess, Alya is more important to her than I ever were" I sighted.

"don't be sad, Alya isn't as good as you" Payton said lightly smiling. "only until she makes you her friends" I sighted again, sacred of the thought that she might take my last friend's from me. "woah, stop. Don't do this to yourself, we'll always be with you" Chase widened his eyes.

"okay okay" I smiled at them, "but why are you here?". "we noticed how upset you are about Alya, so we decided to cheer you up a bit" Chase told me, having a smile on his lips. It suits him. "okay, and what do you want to do?" I asked confused. "what ever you want" Payton answered me quickly.

I had to think for a while, until I came to a decision. "let's just chill" I said, Payton and Chase agreed. We hang out the whole day, listening to music, talking and so much more. I really liked their company, I completely forgot about Alya, until the next day...
