It's the day when I got transferred into a new police department to help them solved a fresh drug-dealing case.

My dad, or should I say the head chief of my old department, which's the field department (if that's what you called it😂lmao) said that my skills could be more usefull if I took this case with me. At first, I declined his offer because I was already comfortable with my job right now, but he insist me on taking it, so I had no other choice but just to go with it.

I was placed in the detective department now. To be honest, I used to dream on becoming a proffesional detective when I was young, but everything went vanished when my dad said that I have better skills on field jobs and that my problem-solving and acting skills aren't that sattisfying. (Even though I'm also good at those. It's just that I'm not a PRO at it)

When I first took a step into the detective department, everything feels way different than the field one. In my old department, guns, hand-cuffs, and bulletproof-vests were everywhere to be seen, but here I could only see papers scattered all around the room.

You could say that the room was a TOTAL mess. It feels as if there was a hurricane that happened just a minute ago in that room. But, for those tired,lazy-ass, detectives they could say that it's just neat.

I walked around the room for a while until I spotted the chief's room. I knocked three times, until I hear a "come in" from the inside. I opened the door slowly and was greeted by the head officer of the department, which's coincidentally my uncle.

Yup, most of my family members work as police officers or detectives. Well, let's continue...

He shaked my hands and thanked me because I've took the offer. He then signalled me to sit down and wait for a moment.

It wasn't long until a knock was heard from the big wooden door. My uncle said "come in" and the door slowly opened. Revealing Cho Seungyeon.

The Cho Seungyeon.

Me and Seungyeon used to be rivals when we assigned for the detective departement up till now. We had some heated competition but, unfortunally I lost misserably to him. I must admit that he has skills, brain, guts, and even looks.

But that still doesn't change the fact that I despised him. A LOT.

He walked closer to my uncle and bowed to him. He then took a sit beside me and my uncle started to explain things to him, while I just silently listents to his statements.

It wasn't long until I heard that me and Sungyeon would be dealing with the case together. So that means that I was partnered with Seungyeon for this whole case!

My uncle knows that I hate him to the core, and I bet he has planned all of this, because I'm sure 100% that I saw him smirk! What my typical uncle... Well, I should've known better...

Right after we heard his statement, we both stared at each other and exchanged looks. It seems that he was just as bothered as I am. But, I could see that he remained calm and just smiled. He then exit the room to continue his job.

I then glared at my uncle with the 'explain' looks plastered all around my face.

But my typical uncle just shrugged it off and said that we both should made up. He also added that me and Seungyeon actually look good together.
