Darien POV

Beverly is my cousin, and she is my only friend. I invited Beverly over and I said she could have some of her friends over as well, since I just moved to Derry with my mum after my Dad died of cancer, and because I have no friends yet.

Beverly called me to say that she was on her way. I put on my best clothes and cleaned the whole house before they came, you know to make a good impression. I had bought chips, drinks, lollies and I have bought movies to watch with everyone. I couldn't decided if we should watch The Goonies, Back to the Future, Heathers, Dirty Dancing or Stand by Me, so I decided to wait until every one was here and that we should do a vote.

I decided to put on a pair of overalls with a long graphic tee with a green plaid cardigan. I put my hair half up half down. As I waited I decided to read but I ended up falling asleep.

*time skip*

I heard the door bell ring and ran down stairs and opened the door quickly because I was excited to see Beverly because I haven't seen her since we were 5. i rushed to eopen it and 7 people came into my house including Beverly. "Bev i missed you i'm so glad we're going to stay here i get to spend time with you and your friends" i said smiling at Beverly. "I'm glad too i won't be the only girl in my friend group" Beverly said back to me. I made eye contact with one boy with brown with blonde streaks in his hair. I smiled at him and he smiled back. He was really cute. "These are my friends" Beverly pointed to them. They were all boys i was suprised that Beverly didn't have any girl friends. "I'm Richie, what's your name sweet cheeks" A boy with brown reddish hair with glasses spoke up. "I'm Darien" i spoke back. "That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." The boy i made eye contact with said to me. "I'm Bill." He said. "I'm Darien" I said back to him. "I know Beverly has told us a lot about you. This is Eddie, Mike, Ben and Stan." The four all waved at me and i waved back.

Bill POV

Darien was really cute. I don't know why i fell this way. I mean she is beautiful but she wouldn't want someone like me. She was everything I ever wanted in a girl. I think i might be in love with her. But that's impossible i just met her.

Darien POV

I felt something for Bill that i never felt with anyone else before. It was like love at first sight. But it couldn't be could it.
