Chapter 10 - Remember?

Knock knock

Something broke our silence. We didn't realise for how long we were hugging each other. Then we pulled back and moved our gazes towards the door.

Knock knock

"You're gonna open or what?" I heard my brother call out to me behind the door.

Realisation struck me like a tsunami. My eyes widened and panic reaction on my face was enough for Jacob to understand my next move.

"Girl, calm down" he chuckled while he moved my face gently from the door to meet his eyes.

"I'm just gonna go the same way I came here. Just don't panic, kay? It'll be alright."he said as he moved towards the balcony door.

"Okay, I'll break the door now Jen! What's taking so long.?" Noah said.

Jacob nudged me to say something.

"Um-m I'll b-be there. Just g-give me a mi-minute. I'm changing! Okay?" I said nervously

Jacob raised his eyebrows at me before going down the balcony.
"I would like to see that" he whispered flirtingly.

I rolled my eyes at him. But my blushing increased at his words.
Finally he was on the ground and he waved at me gesturing 'bye'. I waved back and slowly saw him disappearing before turning one more time and winking at me. Oh heart, calm down!!!!!

*Next day*

I woke up to a great feeling inside me. The sun shining brightly on my face because I forgot to close my curtains. Jacob confessed to me yesterday. That was the best thing. I got up from my bed and went into the washroom to freshen up. I came with a bathrobe wrapped around my body and went into my closet to examine as to what to wear today. I had to look cute. I mean, come on? Its obvious isn't it? I picked a pleated white skirt with starry black tights below and a denim off-shoulder top. Leaving my hair down, I put on some kohl and a peach lip gloss. Yeah, I don't appreciate myself much but I definitely looked cute. Putting my bag on my shoulders and climbed down the stairs to find Noah and mom on the dining table. Breakfast laid down. Yum, it looked delicious but keeping in mind the time, I had to hurry in order to reach school on time, before the gates close.

"Come one, baby bro lets go" I ruffled my little brother's hair. "We're gonna get late if you don't hurry up."

"Yeah, whatever don't call me baby bro, you idiot!"

"Okay Noah, let's go my boy" I chuckled as we drove off to school.

We went to our usual seating table at lunch. Rach ordered some fries and coke while I had a slice of pizza and orange juice.
I narrated her the whole incident with Jacob and me except leaving out the part where Jacob confessed his feelings because that's personal and should remain between him and me. I just told her he likes me and that I like him back.

"But aren't you like scared if Jacob even remembers what happened with the two of you. You mentioned he was drunk right?" Rach questions me suprisingly calm. I thought she would explode when I tell her (which she did) but now remained calm keeping in mind our surroundings. See, such a understanding friend?

"I never thought about this until now" I replied honestly. It's true, I didn't.

"So, you are going to ask him or what?" she questioned
