Standing on the ledge of the cliff was her. The orange sunset created a silhouette, outlining her body perfectly. The large gusts of wind sent her long, blue hair flying behind her gleaming body. Inching closer to the edge, that's when it hit me, she was going to jump. It hurt me that she felt this way, I couldn't stand to let this happen to her. Just a year ago I was in the same position, but no one was there to help me, and I wasn't just going to watch the one person I love to attempt the same thing I did. I needed to do something.

"Katelyn, don't do it!" I yelled just loud enough to make her hear me but trying not to startle her.

She spun around, looking for the person who called out to her. Tears streamed down her face, they filled her once lively, blue eyes with sadness, it pained me to see this from an outside perspective, especially since it was her.

Her mouth slowly opened, indicating she was about to speak, but nothing came out, so I spoke the best I could. "P-please don't." I felt tears start to escape my eyes.

"W-why do y-you care?" She finally spoke, although she stuttered a lot.

That question made me want to just a run-up to her, embrace her, and tell her how much I love her, but I have to refrain because I know she would never feel the same about me, ever. "Just step away from the edge, p-please," I said sternly, failing.

"W-why." She stepped closer to the edge, I cannot lose her either. I had to tell her, now or never.

"B-because, I love you." She collapsed to her knees, sobbing. I definitely did not expect that reaction from her.

I snapped out of my trance and I ran up next to her collapsed body. I sat down next to her, slowly placing my arm around her, comfortingly. "Don't l-lie to m-me." She said. How could she think I was lying to her, I've loved her the first day I met her.

"I'm not," I stated. "I love you more than anything." That was the truest thing I've ever said, she was everything to me.

"Don't s-say that, you h-have so much to love." I knew that wasn't true, but it was weird that she thought that. I pulled her closer to my body, shockingly she didn't hit me like she usually does, she just let it happen.

"Katelyn, believe me, I love you more than everything and everyone." I restated, trying to make her believe me, even though it is the truth.

She then said something I never thought she would ever say, she said: "I love you too." I turned to see a rosy color-forming across her entire face. I can't believe my ears, did I just hear that.

"Huh?"I could feel the heat rising to my face.

"You heard me." She teased, I'm just glad I got her to smile again, even if it was a lie. "This doesn't mean anything." What does she mean by that?

She then, unexpectedly, proceeded to place her hand on my cheek, pulling our faces close together. What in the name of Irene is she doing, I mean she can keep going, but it's just confusing. Slowly, she moved her lips closer together, we were now probably only a few centimeters apart. I could feel her breath against my lips, it was the best sensation I've ever felt. Suddenly, she placed her lips against mine, they tasted like blueberries, she was really living up to her nickname. After about a few seconds of kissing, we had to pull apart, because of this stupid thing called breathing.

I realized the thing and smirked. "What?" She asked.

"Did that actually mean nothing to you?" I said, stretching out certain words.

She just giggled, it was so cute. She then sat in my lap, facing me, her weight against my body made me blush. "Thank you, Travis."

"Why?"

"For saving my life." She rested her forehead against mine, damn, I love this girl.

"I love you." I wiped away a stray tear from her crystal eyes.

"You already said that." She smiled.

"Well, it's just so you believe me, blueberry." She blushed at my nickname for her.

"I love you too, Travis," I smirked.

"You already said that." I copied her.

"Shut up dork." She joked.

We stayed there till the sunrise, just talking to each other, and cuddling. It was the best night of my life.
