Chapter 4

(Kanda's POV)

I woke up laying on my now dry and messed hair. I still only had a towel on but I felt surprisingly warm. I tried to get up but my movements were restricted.

"Mmmmnnn... Kanda..... Stop moving around so much." a voice that I recognized said as the grip on me tightened.

My face flushed as I remembered the previous night. Had we really just done that? Wow. I guess his cuteness got the best of me. I think I should leave.

I pushed through his restrictions and sat up though his arms were still wrapped around my neck. Allen's white hair tickled my cheek as my red cheeks grew darker even more so.

I pushed him off of me and began to walk over to my clothes, that were currently strwen abou the room, when spots invaded my vision and everything went black.

(Allen's POV)

A large thump sounded behind me and I quickly turned around to see Kanda face planted into the floor.

"Kanda? Are you ok? Kanda?? KANDAAA!?!?"

I slid oit of bed and tried to see his face. It was extremely flushed and sweating. He had a fever and could not breath.

I could not breath at the sight of him. He just collapsed. Not knowing what to do I sprinted out the door and ran absent mindedly to the imfirmary. I bashed into Lenalee along the way.

"Allen? Allen whats the...?" as I collapse in her arms.

Tears streamed from my face. I break down telling her everything. EVERYTHING. From when I ran into the room until Kanda collapsed on the floor. Her face was full out red when I was done. Not a light pink but RED. Her face went pale after hearing Kanda's condition and ran to the room where he still lay.

She threw open the door and looked in door a moment. She yelped and shut the door again.

"Lenalee? Whats the matter? Did some thing happen in there? I asked more tears threatening to spill out.

"You forgot to mention that he was naked." she whispered her hand over her flushed face.

Kanda's towel fell off when he collapsed.

"Oh. Sorry. I will get him on the bed and we can work from there, k?" I said opening the door again.

Lenalee took his temperature and is was 102° F(38.89°C). Oh my gosh he has such a high fever. Will he be ok? We got a wet wash cloth to wipe off the sweat and keep him cool.

"Did he fall asleep on wet hair?" she said brushing her long hair out of her violet eyes.

"Ummm..." I said thinking hard, "Yeah. He did."

"When ever he falls asleep on wet hair he gets a really bad fever for several days." she shakes her head and brings her hand up as her expression grows more worried, "Also we can't transfer him to the infirmary because some exorcists came back from a bad mission and the staff there need all the help they can get."

"Oh so I guess he will just have to stay here then. Until he is well again." I say turning my head away so she doesn't see the color coming to my face.

"Well you better not do anything to him while he is in here all defenseless. I mean he doesn't even have his Mugen." she smirked. I shoot her a glare my cheeks turning into two roses.

I turn around again to face Kanda. I guess I will have to go in his room and get some of his stuff if he is going to be staying in here for a while.

"I will go inform Komui nii-san not to give you two any missions until he..." she gestures to the sleeping japanese man "gets better."

After Lenalee leaves I lay down on the floor not to disturb my newfound lover. I'll get his stuff in the morning.

*********(Time change)********

I woke up in the middle of the night and could not fall back asleep. I rubbed my bleary eyes. I was so groggy that I ended climbing over Kanda and into the bed next to him. I drank in his feverish scent and fell pray to sleep.
