Chapter 5

Jai's POV

We walked down the road and went the route that I used everyday to get to school.

"So are you gonna catch the bus to school or walk" I asked.

"Um I was going to walk" She said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Oh I walk to school everyday, maybe we could walk together?" I said.

"I'd really like that" She smiled and looked at me properly for the first time so I could see her beautiful eyes. Wow.

"Err so tell me about yourself!" I pressed. I wanted to get her out of her shell.

"Um. I'm 16, have an older brother and err. I'm not a very interesting person sorry" She looked away again.

"I'm sure you are! Like um hey! Is that an All Time Low shirt?!" I got excited again. I fuckimg love all time low.

"Yeah! Do you listen to them?" She exclaimed and I got to see her beautiful eyes again.

"Oh my gosh yes! They're like one of my favorite bands. That is after Nirvana."

"WAIT. You like Nirvana?!? I love them!"

"Wow. We have so much in common. Let's just say it was meant to be" I teased as she blushed and looked down again.

"So um besides having an awesome taste in music, do you have any hobbies?" I pressed again.

"Err well I sorta play the guitar. I'm no good though" She said shyly.

"I'm sure you are! That's pretty cool. Luke plays the guitar. He taught me a few chords but I still suck at it" I said.

"I'm sure I'm worse" She said.

It was clear that she underestimated herself quite a lot. Maybe she didn't have much self confidence.

"So um what subjects do you like at school?" I tried to change the subject as we crossed the road.

"I like art I guess" She said quietly.

"Oh really I love art as well. I draw all the time. Do you" I asked.

"Yh. If I'm not playing guitar or procrastinating then i'm probably drawing." She smiled.

"Well maybe I could see some time. And I could show you mine? Yours is probably amazing" I smiled looking at her as she turned and we stared into each other's eyes for a moment. She blushed and looked down again. She's so beautiful.

"Oh look we're here!" I said desperate to make her stop feeling uncomfortable.

"Looks cool I guess. It's so big"

"That's what she said" I said and for the first time ever I heard her laugh. It sounded like an angels laugh.

I just stood there and smiled at how beautiful she was.

She stopped laughing after a couple of seconds and just stared back at me. I closed my eyes and leaned in and she did to. I was about to kiss my dream girl.

We were inches apart when she pulled away.

"Erm so shall we maybe carry on with the tour?" She asked nervously.

"Oh uh yh of course." I replied desperate to break the tension.

What just happened?
