Wait a Second...

I know. You want that thing so badly. You can't wait for it to come. Or maybe you don't even know what you're waiting for, but you know it it will be oh so good and you're growing impatient. Maybe God told you about something you're supposed to do, but then things got silent. You still haven't heard what to do next.

I hear you, sister. I understand you, brother.

Waiting is hard. It gets harder and harder when those around you seem to be getting what you think you should have. Your heart sinks a little more every day and hope seems like a thing of the past.

I've been there. I am still going through it. You are certainly not alone.

Just know that in this time of waiting, God is developing you into the person you need to be so that when the blessing comes, you're able to handle it. He will strengthen you in ways you never thought possible if you would just... be still.

He says to be still and KNOW who He is. Know that He is God and He is bigger than your fears. He is right there in the waiting with you. He's waiting on you to learn to wait on Him.

If you have no idea what you should do next, keep talking to Him. I promise He will answer and the dots will start to connect. It might not be the answer you expect, but it is better than what you had in mind. His ways are just that much greater.

And as you wait, don't wait alone. You need your brothers and sisters in Christ. They need you. Talk to those with deeper roots in Christ and allow them to encourage you. They have been where you have been and maybe they are where you are. Don't be afraid to open up and be vulnerable. I have found so much freedom in doing this.

That brokenness you feel is why Jesus gave His life. He gave His so we could be whole again and have hope as we wait.

Brother and sister, I'll wait with you. I'll pray with you. I am here for you ♥️

they shall run and not be weary;
