Reign
I went to my room to text my cousin. I let her know that she would be staying with Tyler while she was here. I turned my tv on, plugged my phone to my charger and grabbed a shirt and some shorts to sleep in. As I walked to the bathroom I heard my phone ring so I turned around to grab it.
It was Sky.
"Hello?"
"Yo, fuck you mean I ain't stayin with that nigga." For my cousin to be beautiful, her accent is so aggressive.
"Hey to you too Sky, Im good." I said sarcastically.
"Nah fuck allat. Why I can't stay with you?"
"Because somebody lives here and ain't no room."
"I'll sleep on the couch fam. But I ain't staying with him."
"No fam." I stressed. "I just bought that sofa set and you ain't bout to mess it up."
She sighed heavily.
"I just... I know he's still upset with me."
"Well... you did have another man's baby Sky. Ty was in love with you and that crushed him. Your best bet is to fix it."
"But how?" Ugh lord she wanna y'all and I just want a hot shower.
"Apologize first and foremost. Then be his friend . Don't be the same old hot headed Sky. Especially since you was in the wrong." I heard the bathroom door shut indicating Chris went in there. Then the shower started. Fuuuuuccckkk.
"Imma try that fam . Good lookin out . Imma hit you tomorrow. I gotta get Egypt ready for bed."
"Awe ok well kiss him for me and as soon as you touch down call me."
"Aight I will. Bye." She hung up. Without me saying bye back. "Rude ass." I mumbled.
I sat on the bed watching tv waiting on Chris to get out the shower. Finally , for what felt like an hour, he opened the door. Hot steam came out of bathroom as he opened it.
He was shirtless. Body still a little damp. Spots of water laid against his abs. When I looked back up to his face there was that smile but his eyes read desire. I grabbed my clothes and rushed passed him into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. This man got me hot and bothered without even touching me. Thank God for showers.
