Reign
"Papaaaaa" I yelled to Chris down the hallway.
"Yeah?" "You wanna eat?"
I heard his footsteps in the kitchen and then felt him press up against me. "I mean I could eat again" he whispered against my neck with a slight grin on his face.
"Baby, noooooo. You been eating all night and this morning. She needs a break."
"But she taste so gooood." He said huskily as I blushed.
"Alright babe. Imma leave you alone for now but you mine later."
"Want me to cook or pizza?"
"Pizza. You talked to Tyler today?"
"Come to think of it no. He hasn't been over here either. Can you check on him and I'll order the pizza and straighten up?"
"Yeah baby, kiss me first." He poked his lips out as I stood on my toes and put my arms around his neck.
He picked me up by my thighs and kissed all over my face making me giggle eventually kissing me deep.
"Ok put me down before we end up fucking."
"I wouldn't mind that." We hadn't reached that point yet. It was always just him giving me head. He never seemed to get tired of doing it. I'm not complaining either but I do want him to feel good. I know he's tired of going to the bathroom to relieve himself.
"Alright baby let me go check on Ty."
"Ok"
I walked across the breezeway and knocked on Ty's door. After 3 mins he finally answered.
"Wassup man?"
"Hurry inside Reign before he finds out about us."
I stale faced him.
"Act like you got some sense. How you feeling?"
"Better. That hoe turned up yet? Heard anything?"
"Nah. Still nothing."
"Idk man. Sky is known to do fucked up shit but this ain't like her. Normally would hear from her by now especially now. She'd be calling around asking for money since it's almost the 1st."
"You wanna ride with me somewhere?"
"Listen if you tryna take me somewhere more intimate , I only stay at 5 star hotels."
"Nigga no. I'm going to go look into this Sky bullshit. See what the hell is going on."
"Aight cool." He said as he grabbed his phone, wallet and his gun. "Can never be too careful." I texted Chris to let him know I was leaving and he texted me saying he was coming too. He walked out the door , locking it with the baby in tow. I walked down the steps on a search to find Sky. Little did we know what the hell were getting ourselves into.
As I sat in the passenger seat, Chris drove and Tyler was in the backseat with the baby, I wrecked my brain trying to think about where Sky would go in Atlanta. Somewhere she would think of as a stress reliever or a getaway. I texted my aunt about the situation and she told me to drop the baby off with my grandmother first in case Sky was in a dangerous situation. We take the baby to my grandmothers house. As I got out I saw an older gentleman mowing my grandmothers yard. I walked in her house.
"Granny!? It's me , Reign & Egypt." I screamed
"Lawd Jesus why you gotta be so loud chile?" I followed her voice to the kitchen.
"Oh hello to my sweetie pie" she said tickling and giving Egypt kisses all over his face.
"What you making in here granny?"
"Some oxtail, rice & pea & cabbage"
"I'll be right back over here when I'm done to eat. Granny who that man mowing yo lawn?" I said raising my eyebrow.
"See? Ya in grown folks business. Ain't ask you bout that young man in that drivers seat now did I?"
"How you kn–"
"I'm old not stupid. Anyway go find that grandchild of mine and bring her here so I can whip her ass. She know better don't she? Yes she do. Nana gonna wear her ass out. I shole am." She said talking to Egypt and walking away.
"Love you granny!"
"I love you too baby."
I walked out the house waving at the gentleman and got in the car. As we pulled off Tyler told me he still has her location on his phone. He pulled it up and it showed her at a motel across town.
"Let's go."
Once we arrive, I see Dave outside of the motel.
"Dave?"
"Reign! Hey mamas how you doing?" He reached and hugged me.
"What you doing on this side of town?"
"Looking for m—"
"Baby, who is this?" Chris asked wrapping his hand around my waist.
"Chris this is Dave, my co worker. Dave this is Chris, my man."
Completely ignoring Chris, Dave looked at me and continued to speak to me. "That's why you been dodging me. Cause you got a man. You know that never really phased me shorty."
"The fuck is ya problem Nigga? You got a issue we can solve that shit."
"Shit Nigga act like it's ya birthday and do what you wanna do pretty boy."
"Hey! We didn't come here for all of this! Dave respect my relationship and my man.
He ain't going no where. We only over here to find my cousin."
"Yeah aight. Only cause you said so. What she look like?"
I showed him a picture of Sky.
"Ohhh Redd is ya cousin?"
I scrunched my face up.
"Redd?"
"Yeah. One of my girls."
"What you mean one of your girls?"
"Just as he asked that, a girl walked up to him and handed him a wad of cash. "Here you go daddy"
I felt my blood boiling. My head was spinning and all I could see was red.
I blacked out.
"You mean to tell me. You pimped out my cousin? This whole time I've been caring for her son who she left us with, YOU been making her trick on the streets?!"
Just as I looked to my right, a room door to a motel room was open and I saw Sky laying there with a needle in her arm. She looked bad. Extremely frail. Dirty along with being high and confused.
"Sky?" I looked at her. Then looked at Dave.
"Babe. Calm down." Chris said.
Too late.
"You gave her drugs BITCH?! " I screamed as I punched him in his nose repeatedly until I felt blood leaking.
"FUCK! I ain't know shorty had a son or that she was your people"
"As if that would've made a difference!"
"It would've. I wouldn't put you through no Shìt like this!"
"FUCK YOU! Stay away from her and me!"
I saw Tyler picked Sky up with tears falling out of his eyes and carried her to the car. He laid her on the backseat carefully. He got in and didn't say a word. He just rubbed her hair and cried silently.
I got in the car shaking.
"Calm down baby okay? We got her. Just need to figure out what to do now."
"What's the nearest rehab center?" Tyler asked
"A hour from here."
"That's where she's going. She needs to get better for this baby."
We pulled off headed to the center. I just hope when she comes down off her high she understands why we did this.
