While using any kind of skincare products it is required to customize it according to type of your skin, problematic areas at the moment, changes in season and weather...taking all of these constraints into consideration can be quite difficult. The products that I would be recommending are based on the skin type and are budget friendly. But to maintain your skin what you truly need is to keep your mind and body healthy.

Let's be real just lathering products onto our face may not really work for all of us , so what we do need to do is maintain our body healthy and try to manage stress in a better way. So I would also recommend some healthy foods and supplements that you can include in your diet. These foods and products may not be suitable for all of you so please do a patch test for all of them and if you find any immediate reaction then do stop using them and consult with your dermatologist.

We are facing many factors which cause negative effect on our skin such as pollution, environment, diet, uv rays, stress which cause huge damage to our skin, so strengthening it out from both inside and outside is really important to maintain dewy skin.

So let's get down to our first category.....that is foods.

Vitamin C,E : lemons, berries, oranges, guava, tomatoes, kiwi, bell peppers, broccoli , sprouts, nuts , avocados and spinach.

Vitamin C and E foods are rich in antioxidants which is the greatest ingredient you can take by food or by application that can help strengthen your skin barrier.

It can help in preventing premature aging, skin discoloration like dark spots , hyperpigmentation and to some extent it protects skin from uv rays.
Consider having healthy amounts of greens and microgreens which really help your body.

Vitamin B: mushrooms, green peas, spinach, oats, eggs, fish, bananas and beans.

There are different classes of vitamin B, all of which are helpful in relieving our skin of different problems, these foods need to be included in your daily diet. You can also include skincare products containing vitamin C, E and B but please be sure to do a patch test else your skin may burn which causes it to become sensitive.

Zinc: meat, legumes, seeds, shellfish are excellent sources of zinc. It helps in healing wounds and keeps skin healthy.
The other vitamins such as A,D,K are also important group that should be a part of your diet. Getting atleast 10 min sun exposure early in the morning can increase vitamin D . Sometimes eating healthy really is the key to good skin.

Seeds include chia, sunflower, flax and sesame.
Nuts include walnuts, almonds and Brazil nuts.
Tea is also good for skin some of them include green tea, oolong tea, roobois tea, chamomile tea.

Try to keep away from diary products for a period of time to observe whether they have any affect on your skin. If you find no problem with taking dairy products go ahead.
There are also some acne causing foods which are high in sugar content ,so avoid them as much as possible.

In the next few posts I'll be mentioning about some skincare products . Please note that I'm by no means a doctor or a professional consultant. I try my best to provide you with credible information, if any errors are present please notify me.
