Following some skincare habits or establishing a daily routine will certainly help your skin. You may already be following some kind of routine but may be making some mistakes in our routine.

1. Simplify your routine
We all have our cabinets filled to brim with most of our skincare junk...which really needs to be cleared . Use only those products that you really require..... supposedly you're 15 years old don't go using all of those eye creams and serums that you don't really require as your dead skin cells sheds frequently. Don't change products too often as they take significant amount of time to work properly. You'll need to use any product for atleast 1 month before you see any changes.

2. Cleanse CORRECTLY
While selecting a cleanser choose one which is pH- neutral, gentle on your skin, non comedogenic which doesn't strip your skin of it's natural oils. It shouldn't feel like your skin is squeaky clean after cleansing it. Choose a cleanser that suits your skin type and don't be too vigorous while washing it .....cleanse your skin only using your fingertips in small circular motions. After washing your face don't rub it with rough cloth but gently pat the water into your skin or let it air dry if there's not much time.

3. Maintain your body well
I'm not saying don't eat any junk food or high calorie food.....try to cut down on sugary drinks and food just regulate your diet in a way it suits you. DRINK ATLEAST TWO LITRES OF WATER EVERYDAY. Incorporate healthy foods such as greens, avocados, fish, nuts and all the vitamin c foods. Try to cut down on sugary drinks and dairy products, instead make yourself some healthy smoothies, green tea, coconut water, juices etc.....trust me you will see a lot of changes in your skin as well as your body.

4. SPF.....SPF....SPF
It is MANDATORY that you use a sunscreen everyday..... Even if it's a rainy day. The ultraviolet rays can cause skin cancer, even if it doesn't show effect now it will surely show later in your 30's or 40's ..so even if it is irritating to use ,it is a must in your routine. Use sunscreens which protect from both uva and uvb rays and are also containing the pa+++ mark.

5. Remove your makeup
I know it's tiring after along day of work at school or the office but ALWAYS remove your makeup before going to the bed. What actually happens to our skin while we're sleeping is that it goes into an auto repair mode and if any sort of dust or makeup is present it clogs our pores which causes acne. Clean your makeup brushes regularly as they contain millions of bacteria. If possible try to reduce the use of makeup especially when your skin is sensitive after different treatments.

6. Stop picking on your pimples and frequent skin treatments
When your skin comes into contact with your nails the bacteria present will infect the areas near it and causes whole lot of pimples. So stop touching your face. Any treatment performed on the skin must be taken into account and make necessary changes ...don't go booking facials frequently. Having a facial once a week is sufficient.

7. PATIENCE
I know I've said a lot of stuff to do but the key element is to have patience as our skin won't go into a miraculous state after taking the necessary steps immediately. As it takes time for any damage it takes even more time to repair so please be patient with your efforts as well as your skin. Treat it correctly and it will also show good results.
