Nothing unusual happened the day the train arrived, which was a Sunday. The new kids got a tour around the school. Everyone got their room number and timetable. The rooms were kinda like appartements. Your entire class was cramped together into an appartement with a common area, that had a tv, a big sofa and a few small coffee tables.
There was also a kitchen, which had almost everything you could have, plus a large dining table. There was a long hallway to every bedroom. You had a private bedroom with a key to it, you could decorate the room however you wanted. But there was already a bed and a desk in there.
Your class was given a check every month to buy food at a convenience store nearby. The entire class was expected to keep the appartement clean and to buy food.
The first night everyone just went straight to bed, because by then, it was already 11 pm.
-The Next Day || Monday 8.28 am-
Just two more minutes before class started, homeroom. Despite the joking yesterday, Luna didn't intend to make friends in her new school. She only really wanted the year to get over with. Besides, most of the kids at the school were there for a good reason. They were all just a bunch of troublemakers, in Luna's eyes.
All of their classes consisted of: P.E., homeroom, math, geography, english, behaviour classes, arts and crafts, biology, power control, transforming(only for the Agristoles), chemistry, history and french or Spanish. And. Every. Single. One. Of. Them was with the same class.
"Hello class"
"Goodmorning, mister" the whole class said in unison. Luna hadn't even noticed that the class had already began.
"I am mr. Dabbi, I will be your homeroom teacher for this year." He was a parrot. And he looked ridiculous.
"The entire year you will have all kinds of different subjects. Some of these include therapy sessions over the weekends, for the ones who have had traumatic experiences. You will also have a class in behaviour. But I like to call it: 'How not to be a complete asshole to society'" he stared around the room, looking at dome people accusingly.
"You will also have a class for Power Control, which I believe speaks for itself. There is also a class which is only for the Agristoles, Transforming. You will learn there how to completely transform into the creature you take after."
The rest of the lesson was him just ranting about how important this year would be and what was expected of them. Luna spaced out about 2 minutes in, until she felt the girl beside her poke her. She looked up to see what the girl wanted of her. The girl had ash blonde hair, that went as far as hallway down her back. She had purple-red eyes. Luna almost immediately picked up her scent, Raven.
"Yeah, I'm trying to pay attention. But he talks so slow! And his feathers keep distracting me. They're so colorful!" She whispered. Luna snickered.
"Yeah, I know right. I spaced out about a few minutes in!" She whispered back.
"So, what are you in for?" The girl asked.
"I lose control of my powers real quick, and apparently I have a bad attitude." Luna said, grinning at the last part. "And you? What are you doing here?"
"I lit a building on fire" Luna's mouth fell open.
"You didn't" the girl just snickered.
"Yeah, I did. 'Twas my old school."
"Too tired of homework? Been there, done that." The girl raised her left eyebrow. "The homework" Luna clarified. The girl softly laughed, to not get the teacher's attention.
"I've known you for just a minute, and I already like you." The girl smiled. "You know jokes and memes? Hell yeah" Luna laughed at her comment.
"What's your name?" The girl asked.
"Luna, Luna Sky" Luna answered.
"Well Luna Sky, I am Aaliyah Roodie" She said. "I'm a Raven-"
"Oh, I already know that." Aaliyah raised her left eyebrow, again.
"You do?"
"Yeah, I have a good nose" Luna said. Suddenly the bell rang.
"Damn, I have Spanish now. You?" Aaliyah pouted.
"French, but the teacher is sick. Saw it on the board today." There was a giant board in the hall, that said which teachers were sick and which classes were removed from today's schedule.
"Lucky, I wish I picked French. Spanish is so boring!"
"Then why did you pick it?" Luna said, putting everything in her bag.
"Because I'm Spanish myself, and my family doesn't want me to forget my native language." She groaned. "But this just means I only get A+'s! Meaning I learn nothing and it's a waste of time!"
"Yeah, I get that. My mom is originally from Japan, and my stepfather is Russian-African. So I've been fluent in Japanese, African, Russian and English my whole life."
"Wow, you speak four languages!? I wish I spoke Japanese, would make it easier to understand anime." Aaliyah pouted, which made Luna laugh. "Anyways, I got to run. If I want to make it on time to class, that is."
"See you later, Aaliyah"
"See you, Luna!" She then ran off.
Luna turned around, walking away. Huh, maybe I will make some friends here after all, she thought.
