"Alright class." Mr. Dabbi said. "You already know what is expected of you. You will all have an area in the woods where you will need to camp. You will have to work together to find food and water. You are not allowed to help other teams."

Aaliyah looked at Luna, nudging her. "Don't expect me to do all the work for this project." She exclaimed while smiling.

"Nah. I doubt you ever even camped." Luna said, to which Aaliyah scoffed.

"So? I can eat almost anything in these woods! I'll be fine."

"You can't eat raw meat though."

"Shut up, Luna." Aaliyah muttered. Luna laughed.

Mr. Dabbi gave everyone a small tent and a map, with the directions to their area. So, Luna and Aaliyah went to their place.

"Do you even know how to set up a tent?" Luna asked. She was sitting on the grass. Aaliyah had offered to set up the tent on her own, because Luna would go into the woods later that day. But, Aaliyah was kind of struggling.

"ShUt Up, LUnA. I know what I'm doing." Aaliyah yelled, while being stuck between two ropes who were across from eachother. They had decided to camp at a more open space, near the edge of the forest.

Luna grumbled, before letting her arms relax and falling into the grass. Luna felt her entire body itch in the forest. She wanted to go into the woods so badly. She sat up straight.

"Hey Aaliyah? Can I already go into the woods?"

"Go right ahead." Aaliyah muttered while trying to get herself free from the tent.

Luna stood up. She stretched herself for a few seconds, before walking into the trees. She breathed in and out. It smells like home. Just then, she realized how much she missed her own home. The long weeks of school with Allen and Neveah. The weekends with the binge-watching and slumber party's. The bacon and eggs in the morning, that her stepfather always made. Even the fights between Zion and Kyle, she missed everything.

Thinking about it has no use, better change your attitude or you're going to be stuck in this school forever.

Luna licked her lips, who were as rough as sandpaper at this point. Right, I'm hungry.

Aaliyah's POV
If it was even possible, Aaliyah felt even more useless. She knew Luna was a predator (though she didn't know what kind of animal). She already knew this had meant that Luna would have been excellent in hunting and getting clean kills. So to make sure she didn't feel completely useless, she wanted to set up the tent. But she was struggling more than she should.

At sundown, she was finally able to set up the tent. It had taken her. Five. Whole. Hours. To set up a damn tent. Aaliyah looked at the tent, it was small. It would probably only fit two people and then still be a bit cramped.

"So, you're finally done?" Aaliyah spun around to where the voice came from, to see Luna standing there. Holding the body of a white rabbit by the feet. Aaliyah could clearly see the bitemarks in the neck of the rabbit. But other than that, the rabbit looked completely clean.

"Wow, nice catch. But did that seriously have to take you this long?" Aaliyah playfully asked.

"It took you equally as long to set up a tent. And I probably walked about 2 hours north before coming across a few animals, and then I still had to walk back."

Aaliyah rolled her eyes. "If it took you that long to walk there, then why wouldn't you get more than one rabbit?"

Luna narrowed her eyes. "Because, nothing tastes as good as a rabbit you just caught."

"Some days you're nice, some days you can be an absolute bitch."

"Did you just quote that song Pretty Girl?" Luna asked.

"..." Aaliyah stayed silent. "....Maybe"

"Sing."

"The hell?"

Luna rolled her eyes. "You obviously recognize the song, so sing it. You were the one who snooped in on my sketchbook."

"Which was laying wide open!" Aaliyah huffed.

"Fine, but then YOU'RE cleaning the rabbit."

"No way! Do you know how gross that is? You do it, you're the predator here!"

"I can eat the rabbit up whole, organs and all. There is absolutely no reason for me to clean it. I also have never cut open a rabbit." Luna argued.

'You bite into their neck! Doesn't that kind of count?" Aaliyah asked.

"I make clean kills. So yeah, screw you Aaliyah."

Aaliyah didn't know how it came to it. But now she was cutting open a rabbit. Gross, no wonder Luna didn't want to do this. Now that she thought about it, why was Luna so secretive about her own life? The only thing Aaliyah knew was that she was a predator and she had a lot of siblings.

But what did she know about Luna? She didn't know what kind of creature she was, or her powers. Granted, Luna also didn't know Aaliyah's powers, yet. She heard a thump. She looked up and saw that Luna had dropped a pile of wood in front of her.

"I thought you might need this." Luna murmured, before quickly retreating back to the tent.

Odd, Aaliyah thought. She was so quick to leave. She didn't even look- oh God. She didn't even look at the rabbit. Why wouldn't she look at something that she just killed? Aaliyah looked at the rabbit, it did look really gross. But you couldn't see any of the organs because of the blood. There was no reason to be afraid of it.

Aaliyah shook her head. She was probably overthinking it.... right?
