The hallways were relatively empty. There were the kids who didn't have class and the ones who just decided to skip. Outside the building there was a big river and across the river, a small forest with sakura trees. Luna sat down underneathe on of these trees. A big one, that was close to the river and blocking out most of the hot sunlight. She grabbed a book and her headphones, put on some soft, relaxing music and started to read.
"Hey, is this spot taken?" Luna looked up to see a girl there. She had long black hair and stunning green eyes. Luna had never seen her before, she was probably in another class.
"Oh no, it isn't." Luna said, moving aside to give her space. The girl gave her a smile.
"Thank you." She said, while sitting down.
"What's your name?" Luna asked the girl.
"Oh, it's Echo, Echo Fading" The girl answered. "And before you ask. Yes, I'm aware that Fading Echo sounds way better. But whatever." On first sight, the girl looked really shy, not really standing out from the crowd all that much. This is why Luna was surprised to hear her say something like 'But whatever'.
"I wasn't really planning to. People usually say to me: 'Oh, your name is Luna? That means moon, that means your name is actually Moon Sky.' As if I didn't know that already." Luna said. "Even worse, my middle name is Hoshi, which means stars. So my full name is Moon Stars Sky." Echo laughed.
"I finally found someone who has an even crazier name than mine!" She said.
"Hey, are you making fun of me?" Luna asked, playing hurt.
"Maybe I am. To be honest, your name is really ridiculous." Echo snickered.
"Jeez, why did I even tell you that? God damnit." Luna said. Echo just grinned. "You got French too, right?" Echo lazily laid back, putting her hands behing her head.
"Yeah, I don't want to though. I'm way better in Chemistry and History, I hate languages." Echo groaned.
Am I playing Pokemon? Suddenly wild new friends appear out of nowhere,

Behaviour classes. Not excactly something to look forward to. It's just the teacher talking on and on about how to be a good member of society and not be a total bitc-baby. Greaaat. Yup. Luna was totally not planning on how to skip without that resulting in detention.
It wasn't necesarrily the class themself that Luna hated. It was more the fact that she had to waste extra free time on something stupid like that. Besides, they were given time to write an essay that they needed to give to the teacher next lesson about their own behaviour problems and how to solve them. They were allowed to discuss...
Which ultimately led to the entire class just talking about anything but the essay. As for Luna, she got to spend some time with Aaliyah.
"Yo Lu" Aaliyah nudged Luna's shoulder. Luna groaned. She didn't really get any sleep last night, so she was just seconds away from calling asleep.
"What is it?"
"You know the T-rex, right?" Aaliyah asked.
"Yeah?"
"Ok, so just hear me out alright. I saw somewhere that the T-rex has such short arms because they didn't use them much so after years of evolution, they ended up becoming really tiny."
"Why would you think about that?" Luna asked. Aaliyah just frowned.
"I wasn't finished. What if, the meteor never hit earth and dinosaurs still lived. Do you think the T-rex would eventually have no arms? Because they don't need them? Is that how evolution works?"
"I wonder what goes on inside your head." Luna leaned back and put her hands behind her back.
"Don't worry, me too. My thoughts are a little all over the place. 24/7."
"You at least know that"
"Rude" Aaliyah frowned. Luna just laughed.
"If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here to begin with."
"Well, we can't have that now. Can we?"
Luna smirked. "Is this your first random thought, or do you have more in store?"
"Actually, now that you mention it-"
"God, please stop"
"When anime characters watch anime in the show, is it anime for them or just a live-action show?"
Luna sat up straight. "Shit"
"What? What is it?"
"You might actually have a point there..."
"Hah! You just admitted I am actually a genius!" Aaliyah laughed.
"No, I just said you had a point. That doesn't mean I think you have brains." Luna grinned. Aaliyah frowned at her remark.
"And you wonder why you're here?"
"Look who the rude one is now"
