~Monday - 3 pm~

Luna's POV
Luna had realized herself that she had acted rude towards Aaliyah. But it wasn't all her fault! Why couldn't Aaliyah understand that Luna didn't want to tell her what she was?
She's bound to figure it out eventually. Luna waved the thought away. But not now, she'll just have to be patient and prove she's a good person.

Luna didn't like putting people to the test, having them prove they were a good person. But if she didn't, how was she certain they would respect her boundries? She didn't want people to be her friend only because of what she was. Suddenly she felt arms wrap around her from behind. She spun her head around to find Aaliyah there, hugging her tightly.

"I'm sowwyyy" Aaliyah whined. "I should've respected your decision for not telling me."

"Argh, let go! I'm allergic to hugs!" Luna yelled, trying to push the taller female off of her. She felt her face head up.

She didn't do very well with hugs. In fact, she never liked being touched by anyone but her family. Aaliyah let go and Luna took a step back.

"Sorry, I didn't know that would make you uncomfortable" She murmured.

"It's fine. Also, for what happened in the morning. I'm sorry, I wasn't excactly being the nicest either." Luna said. Aaliyah's face lit up.

"Does this mean you're not mad at me anymore?"

Luna sighed. "No, I'm good."

"Ok then, do you want to be my partner for the camping trip this week?" Aaliyah eagerly asked.

"Sure, why not?"

~Monday - 4 pm - outside of the school, at the bus~

Luna sat down in the bus, next to Aaliyah. It took excactly two hours to get there. Luna took out her sketchbook that she had packed in her bag, along with some other stuff. Like:
1. Sunscreen.
2. A pan.
3. Two water bottles filled with water.
4. A small survival knife.
5. A lighter.
6. Some snacks, like: Chips and different types of candy.
7. Spray against muskitoes.
8. And a book with edible wild plants.

Aaliyah shot a glance at everything Luna had packed. "Jesus christ, you're way too prepared!" Luna just grinned, while taking her sketchbook and pencil.

"Someone has to prepare this." Luna said, while starting to draw a shape in her sketchbook. Aaliyah leaned over to try and see what she was making, but Luna quickly covered it with her hands, only revealing a few lines.

"Rude. If you're going to draw something right in front of me, you could at least let me see what it is."

Luna just rolled her eyes. "I don't really want to though. If you want to see what it is, wait until I'm done."

Luna saw Aaliyah huff, but she didn't complain. She saw that Aaliyah took her earphones out of her bag and put them in her ears, probably to listen to some music. Luna didn't pay any attention to it. The reason she didn't want Aaliyah to see her drawing, was because Luna wanted to draw her. Aaliyah had a nice face.

She was also one of the only blond people Luna had ever encountered. Almost her entire family had black, brown, brownred and even blue hair. The only two who had blond hair in her family were her aunt and her cousin. Luna liked giving schade to light colored hair, it was a different kind of difficulty than shading black hair.

She drew the lines of the face and the posture. The person on the paper was leaving against a pillar, holding a phone in their hand while the other was in their pocket. Luna drew the face, which was looking down, but the eyes were facing the person who looked at the picture. The yet unrecognisable person had a face with a slight smile, while having one raised eyebrow as if they were questioning something.

The hair was in a simple long braid, and was being blown to the left of the paper by the imaginary wind. The clothes were simple. A sweater that said 'What'cha lookin' at?', and skinny jeans. Lastly, a few bracelets around the arms. Luna then moved on to shading, she was still using a pencil. By the time she was done, it looked good.

"Hey, I didn't know you could draw this good." Luna turned to see Aaliyah looking at the drawing. Luna picked up the sketchbook and hit Aaliyah in the head with it. "Ow, I was just giving you a compliment!" Luna tried to hit her a second time, but Aaliyah grabbed her wrists with both hands. Luna huffed and put the sketchbook down to her chest.

"I told you not to look!" To which Aaliyah just rolled her eyes.

"It looked interesting, this bus ride so far hasn't excactly been much fun." Aaliyah said. "Besides, what's your problem with me looking? You draw good, so you have nothing to be so selfconscious about."

"I just don't do well with people constantly looking at what I'm doing." Luna said.

"Damn, you are really secretive about everything about yourself."

"Fine, you can ask me some questions." Luna said. "So I can prove that I'm not secretive."

Aaliyah grinned. "Deal!"
