it was afternoon, both minho and jisung had accompanied their mothers at the market that day and they were now a bit tired.
however, in order not to spend another afternoon by themselves, closed in their own bedroom while drawing or listening to music, they had decided to meet up.
so minho was getting ready, wearing his khaki pants along with a red sweater. he combed his hair a bit and made sure he was presentable, before he left the house, humming a popular songs of those days as he walked down his street towards jisung's house.
as he was too immersed in his own thoughts, he almost missed the right house, surprised at himself for how short his walk was.
he walked up the few steps of the porch and rang the doorbell, casually whistling and stuffing his hands in his pockets.
it didn't take long before the door was unlocked and opened, a tiny figure slightly poking his head from behind.
"hi," jisung quietly said.
"hello?" minho replied, sounding more like a question. he was still standing in front of the door and jisung didn't seem like he was going to open it anytime soon.
"aren't you gonna ask me if i want to come in?" he joked, trying to peek inside.
"no!" the younger answered immediately, "w-well, i mean yes, but just give me a minute... i still have to put on my clothes."
that said, he closed the door once again, leaving an astonished minho standing there like a fool.
the elder giggled at himself, shaking his head. he was amused by how awkward the younger had looked, but on the other hand other types of thoughts filled his mind.
he couldn't help but leave some room to imagination, wondering what jisung's body looked like without his clothes on.
he sighed, legit slapping himself on the forehead for having such thoughts, but looking around himself right after hoping nobody had seen him slap his own face.
as he was about to walk around the small frontyard of the house, the door opened, this time revealing a fully dressed han jisung.
minho turned around at the sound, walking back up to the boy, his lips opening in a warm smile.
"hello again"
jisung blushed right away.
"good afternoon, hyung," he shyly mumbled, head hanging low, "please, come in."
the two boys were finally inside the house, minho changing his shoes to a pair of slippers and following jisung around the house. he looked intently at the different rooms and decorations of the house, curious to know more about his friend... wait, was jisung his friend?
however, since it was his first time at jisung's house, he followed the younger around like a lost puppy.
"and this is my room," jisung finally said, opening the door to the last room at the end of the hallway.
minho's jaw dropped open as he looked at the walls in awe. the light green paint of three of the walls was covered in papers that read several quotes from books. instead, the forth wall was decorated with a huge tree painted right on the wall.
minho walked in and stepped closer to it, slightly grazing his fingertips over the dry texture. his head turned towards jisung, who still laid against the door frame.
"did you do this?"
the younger nodded, hiding his proud smile.
"woah..." minho switched his gaze from the boy to the painting, "it's amazing."
