I mean, why do the research for your future when you could just enjoy the present as you wait for the inevitable, right Sapphire?" he replied without looking at me, his focused eyes piercing through the layers of the burger he was consuming, its grease leaking through the many textures that were arranged into one scrumptious meal.
I just looked at him with disinterested eyes, trying to sink in his remark but to no avail, as I found myself falling on his charms the more I look at his imperfect perfections.

"Y-Yeah?" I answered, my eyes looking at him for a brief second only to look away at the same time, afraid that I might find myself in a trance once again.
"Dude, I know I'm handsome and all but you staring at me is just too..." he paused, his look trying to contemplate with what he should say next as I looked at him with skeptic eyes yet flushed cheeks.
Much to his chagrin, he never continued his sentence and dismissed it like it was nothing but alas, I found his ears red as the cherry which indicates something.
