Sorry for the long wait, school started and I was thinking where to go with this fic, 
Remember I’m probably gonna skip a few filler episodes , tell me which ones you don’t want me to skip!!.

“hey mr postman bring me a post, bring me a post I love the most~”
steven sang sitting on a rock beside the mailbox, I hum what he’s singing, 
then jamie swung by the corner , Steven jumped off the rock excitedly running up to Jamie , me behind him, 
even though I knew what Steven got, he never told me himself what he was getting, he said it was a surprise that would ‘help change the world!’ .

“My song came true! Do you have any packages for me today??” Steven asks jumping up and down, watching as Jamie shuffled through his mail bag, “hold on, did you order....a loaf of bread with a stamp on it?” Steven shook his head, “did you order a jury summons for R.J Finkle?” Jamie questions looking at a letter, which Steven denied again, “that’s not me, I’m Steven “ Steven corrects, to which Jamie oh’d to, “right,right,right Steven, here they are” he pulls out two boxes, two?? There should be only 1... “hah, these are gonna help Nora and I save the world!” Steven says boldly, Jamie raises an eyebrow “really ? This says their both from wacky sacks supply company” Steven got one for me too? Aww. “Garnet , amethyst and pearl think Nora and I shouldn’t go on magic adventures because I don’t have a gem and I don’t think Nora knows how to use hers since garnet doesn’t want her to go” I grumble at the last part of steven’s sentence, I do know how to use my gem, I practiced! I’m just not as good on summoning it than I thought I’d be... I know how to do the bubble good... “that seems reasonable “ Jamie says, “but there other ways we could help”Steven says for the both of us, “with wacky sacks?” Steven nods “exactly!”. 
“You know how you can save my world?? Sign here please” Jamie pulls out a digital signing thingy for Steven to sign his name. “Barb yells at me if I don’t get signatures” Jamie almost miserably says,
”that’s terrible “

Shhhhingg! 

the sound of the warp pad could be heard from inside the house. 
“They’re here! Come on Nora” Steven grabs my hand and drags me toward the house, 
“ I wonder what they’ll bring us next” i say out loud “yeah!” 

“Wait! What’s a wacky sack?!”

..

we open the door and see the the gems bantering near the kitchen, 
“what did you get??” We asked 
“well we fought a bird gem-“
“this huge egg!” Amethyst interrupts pearl who gives her a look , shows us a big egg with blue spots on it before trying to put it in the fridge. Pearl starts to argue with amethyst about the egg saying it can’t fit but I turn my attention to garnet who is covered in feathers , I walk up to her and laugh, “you’re all covered in feathers, here let me help” I pat the feathers off while garnet stands in place, not saying anything, just staring into space, at least that’s what I think since I can’t see her eyes, she is just a head taller than me since I’m about the same height as pearl, I can hear pearl in the background saying how they were gonna go back for another mission.
i finish taking all the feathers off and start to take my hands away but then garnet grabs one of my hands and put her other other hand on top, I can feel her gems, one hand warm and the other is cool... 
“garnet?” 
“Nora, I-“ 
“It’s perfect! Nora come here, look what I got us!” Steven called, I pull my hand away and walk towards Steven who was opening the boxes, I can hear garnet mumble to herself but I couldn’t hear what she was saying. 

I see steven pull out a cheeseburger and a pink donut wackysack, aww he gave me a cute pink donut 😔💕, 
“here Nora I got you one too! It’s a donut, and look, the sprinkles are little pockets!” Steven hands it to me, 
i grab it and inspected , “thank you Steven I love it!” I thank him ruffling his curly hair, he smiles and looks inside his own wacky sack, “i was just gonna wear it one day, and guys would be like ‘dang Steven that’s so cool’ and Nora would have been like ‘I wish I had one’ and I would be like , ‘you do!’” He says to us, I let out a snort, “but this is obviously an important gem mission” Steven says. “Yes, so you should let us take care of it” pearl says, “but you said I was part of the crystal gems and Nora has a gem, we can be useful!” Steven argues, I nod “I’ve been practicing, I should be able to go on this mission and Steven can come” I say, 
“let them come, it could be educational~” amethyst says sticking up for us, garnet looks at us, 
“fine let’s go” 
“alright” pearl says, 
“yes!” Me and Steven high five, 
“Wait let me get more things for the mission!” Steven says running up stairs, I follow behind since I know he’d forget the statue, and sure enough he did and ran back stairs, I grab the statue and put it in my wacky sack then headed back down stairs
i stand next to garnet not knowing she shuffled a few centimeters closer, “dang did you pack your whole room in that thing?” 
“Ok is every one ready?” We start to warp but steven’s gut was out of the warp, “suck it in!” Amethyst called out, Steven sucks his stomache in and we warp, the sensation of warping felt so surreal as I floated in the air, “do you remember how to do this Nora , Steven “ i twirled around with a big grin on my face while Steven was goofing off as well, I accidentally bump into garnet who puts her hands on my shoulders to hold me in place, “oh, sorry garnet!” I apologize in embarrassment, “it’s fine..”   , 
“Steven get your head back in!” Pearl tugs on Steven’s hair and pulls him back, 
we finally make it , me and Steven awwed in amazement, 
“it’s the sea spire” 
we hear pearl gasp, then a piece of the sea spire breaks of and crashes to the ground, like this place is in serious shambles.. 
“It wasn’t like this 100 years ago” pearl states looking at it, 
i feel garnet release her hands that I forgot was on my shoulders off me and walks forward , 
“I’m sensing structural instability “ she says adjusting her glasses, Steven shakes his head “oh yeah that’s never good” as he talked the ground started to crack around him causing pearl to huff and go and save in from falling into the water below, “alright hold on, we’re taking Steven back” she says holding Steven 
“Ooh my stomach “
Steven jumps out of pearl’s grip and takes out mr queezy “oh mr queezy!” He starts to shake him 
“It’s killing me”
Steven laughs, “Steven! Take this seriously!” Pearl scolds , “you got it dude!” Steven gives her a thumbs up and sticks out his tongue giving her a wink, I cover my smile at that funny and cute sight, Steven is the definition of a cinnamon roll. Pearl gives him a ‘ok??’ Look “yess....” , 
“that’s enough, we have to move” garnet tells us, we move and go to the old broken building, 

Then we see the ground split into to causing us to be some feet away from the sea spire , garnet stops us from going any further “what’s the problem ? We can clear this easy” amethyst says to garnet but garnet shook her head , “no, the magic that creates the whirlpool has a vortex that would pull us down below “ garnet tells us grabbing a piece of rock and throwing it as an example, we watch as the vertex immediately pulls the rock down into the water . Steven then gets an idea ,”Wait” he rummages through his backpack,
 and takes out a bunch of shirts, “what are those for Steven?” Amethyst asks as Steven ties them all together 
“they were gonna be for something else but now I’ll use them for this” he throws the shirt around the colum and jumps off grabbing the shirt with both hands, “Steven!” Everyone says in worry as we all move closer, we then see him make it, “Steven way to go! Cmon guys” amethyst takes out her whip and goes and grabs us but can only grab two people at a time so garnet grabs a hold of me so I can stay on too , amethyst jumps off and garnet pulls me closer until we reach Steven as well ,“don’t ever do that again” pearl says quickly ,    I get out of her-garnet’s-grip and go to Steven, giving him props on a good idea. We walk up the stairs and listen to pearl ramble on about the sea spire and it’s condition when a bunch of crystal shrimp start to show up, “you guys, we have a problem”, 
“oh no” pearl starts to go over a very complex plan when I see Steven go into his backpack again, 
“what is it now?” I quietly ask him, “well if I were a shrimp I would eat something good likkeee bagels!”He says pulling out two bagel sandwiches, he throws them on opposite sides making a path for us, “great thinking Steven!” I say to him making him smile, “brilliant “ “oh hey what’d you know” , we all walk forward, “how did you know they would do that?” Pearl asks Steven “I just thought what a shrimp would want” Steven answered , “you are a shrimp” amethyst says back making me laugh and her as well, “just so we know my plan would have also worked” pearl says, “we know it would pearl” I say bumping shoulders with her causing her to blush slightly in embarrassment, 
we walk some more before garnet tells us to stop, a big crack exploded causing fast water to flow blocking our Path, “what are we gonna do?” We all look at Steven , “what, me?”  
“What do you got?” Garnet asks , amethyst starts to chant cheeseburger backpack, “cmon pearl, Nora !” 
“Well alright “ pearl says and I nod , we all chant and watch Steven go through his backpack, he then pulls out a raft, “a raft!” We all looked star-eyed“Steven, that’s so sensible!” Pearl states, but when he throws it it just washes away, “aww” , Steven turns to me, “Nora what did you put in your backpack?” Steven asks me , I smile and bring a finger to my lips “it’s a secret”, garnet then took down the pillar and we walked across.
”good idea anyway Steven”
”yeah we can’t all be winners” 
..
we make it to the top, “this is it, the moon goddess pedestal. And the moon is almost over head, it’s not too late to save this piece of history “ pearl says excitingly, “Steven, the statue “ garnet turns to him, Steven nods and looks through his backpack, after a while a look of horrific realization comes across his face, “yo man what’s the hold up?” Amethyst asks, “I don’t have it” the three gems gasp, “what??”, 
“I must have left it on the bed!” , I take my backpack off as they look at the moon and go and find the statue I brought “there’s no time” pearl says, “it’s fine” I say gaining their attention showing them the statue, “I got it “ they all sigh in relief “oh thank the stars!” Pearl says grabbing it, “woah you saved the day, and the sea spire” amethyst says too , garnet pats my head, “good work” she praised smiling, I smile back and pearl puts the statue on the pedestal, a few seconds later a light beam shot into the statue and a few moments later the sea spire started to repair itself to which pearl clapped at happily, but Steven sighed, “I almost blew it...” 
we all go and cheer him up, “yeah we all can’t be winners” he says and we all laugh, as we walk towards the warp pad to warp back home pearl gives us a mini tour and history lesson about the building, to which I listened to since this was new information. We then make it back home, “I knew these wacky sacks would save the day!” Steven exclaimed taking off the cheeseburger backpack, I do the same, “yeah” , I then remember garnet was about to tell me something a while ago but when I looked around for her she was gone.
i wonder what she wanted to say..
