Some one requested to keep the cat fingers episode, but Steven doesn’t have the gem... how will this turn out???
After this it’s meeting Connie 
ps I can’t draw cats 😫(I forgot the gem...let’s say it’s hidden in the fur..)

im currently helping dad and Steven wash mayor Dewey’s van, 
“washy wash with my skrubby skrub~” I say in a sing song voice washing the  vehicles  with my skrub while steven and dad spray it with a hose, “heheh the car wash song!” Steven says but quickly gets water in his face by our dad, they start to have a water hose fight. I start to laugh bringing their attention to me, they look at each other and start to grin, me knowing what their about to do accepted with open arms, literally. I open my arms and they both sprayed me , “haha! Good thing I have on this rain coat” I say at the water drips down my coat, my hair, was a different story. “Hey,Hey,Hey! I didn’t pay for siblings and Father bonding Time!” Mayor Dewey exclaims coming up to us but was cut off by Steven spraying water at him and me throwing a skrub right in his face, 
i throw my hands in the air “whoo!” And Steven laughs high fiving me , but mayor Dewey sees it the opposite, 
“universe, control your kids” he said to dad in a warning manner. Dad chuckles nervously “I’m so sorry about that, this one’s on the house” he says as to get on the mayor’s good side again. Said person looks at the vehicle and back at dad thinking “‘on the house’ you say..I like the way you do business universe!” He then gets in the vehicle and drives off. 
dad sighs watching the truck go off in the distance, Steven and I creep up on each side of him wiggling our fingers “political favors~” , “oh come here ya rascals no more car wash fights” dad says as he playfully puts us in a choke hold with each arm, we laugh. 
Until we all got sprayed again from a hose. Causing Steven and dad to get confused. We all look at the owner of the hose, only to see a grayish colored cat with a purple gem on their chest. Classic amethyst.
”woah!”
Amethyst starts to chase us with the hose, Steven and I throw our hands in the air laughing 
“what is with this cat?” Dad questions confused running away from amethyst with us, the cat stops and turns back into amethyst,who was on all fours and had the hose in her mouth, she gets up and let’s go of the hose laughing. “Heh got you guys!” She says, “amethyst!” Steven and I say. I love saying what Steven says so we’d be synchronized since I’ve watched this show multiple times. “Pretty cool amethyst” dad says with sweat or water going down his face. 
“I wish I can shapeshift like you!” Steven says to her, I nod my head in agreement. Amethyst shrugged in response “I don’t know about you Steve-man but Nora could probably do it” she tells us, Steven gets stary eyed “what? No way!” He says looking at me, “I can?” I try to confirm even if I already knew,
”well you got a gem” she says lifting up my rain coat revealing my pink diamond. 
“Whoa magic gem stuff, should I get out of here? Is there gonna be an explosion?” Dad says nervously,
”it’s not a big deal dad” I reassure him. Amethyst shapeshifts behind me and comes up to the side of me looking like myself “yeah it’s fine~” causing dad to freak out. Me and amethyst share a laugh.
“Hey let’s go show pearl!” Steven says excitingly, amethyst nods “alright”

”check it out pearl!” 
Amethyst starts transforming into different animals causing Steven to laugh “do more!”
”watch this” she transforms into a wolf and howls and starts to turned into even more things , I clap my hands and smile as she turned into a bird and landed in Steven’s hair. 
“Amethyst your over doing it” pearl scolded walking up to us, “uhh chill it dude” amethyst retorts back rolling her eyes.
”just because you can shapeshift doesn’t mean you should” pearl tells amethyst, “can you shapeshift?” Steven asks her, “haha well of cour-“ she gets cut off by amethyst who shapeshifted into her,
”oh well of course I can~ im perfect~ WOMP WOMP” Amethyst slaps her butt making pearl annoyed pushing her away, me Steven share a snicker at the scene. “All gems have shapeshifting powers,we can turn into objects, we can change parts of our bodies or we can do that” pearl glances at amethyst still womping irritated. “Maybe I can do it too!” Steven says, “I don’t think you can Steven you don’t have your mother’s gem. Nora does, I know Nora can do it! She’s just.. so much like...her mother!” Pearl laughs nervously, 
“well I got to go organize my sword collection!” She walks inside her room in the temple and closes the door. 
“What was that about?” I ask confused but Steven just shrugs and sighs looking at his gemless stomach,
”I really wanted to shapeshift and be like you guys” Steven says sadly, my must protect my cinnamon roll brother from sadness senses are tingling, I put my hands on his shoulders gaining his attention, 
“Steven you are like us, your a crystal gem just like me. Just because I have the gem doesn’t mean you don’t have any powers, maybe it’s just a little harder to get them so you’ll just have to try a little harder. I don’t know what I’d do with out you here. Maybe if you try you can shapeshift and if you can’t then that’s just a power you don’t have, mom has many powers from what I’ve heard so you still have other options! So don’t get down about it. Okay?” I lift his chin up smiling softly to cheer him up , he smile back , the sadness leaving his eyes. 
“Thanks Nora, lets learn shapeshifting!” He says excitingly, I grin and turn towards amethyst, 
“teach us shapeshifting?” I ask her , “eh why not, ‘got nothing else better to do” she agrees to teach us ,
me and Steven jump up and down “yes!” 
“Show me how to change into a huge lion!” Steven says all bouncy.
”for once pearl is right, if we’re going to do this right we gotta go easy” amethyst tells him 
“like that cat you turned into?” Steven says looking at his hands, amethyst nods “that sounds good, now follow my lead”. 
“First think about what you want to see and then shake it out” amethyst tells us and she shakes her arms and turns into the cat from before , she walks up to us in cat form “see, heh, now you guys go” I let Steven try first  he tried but it didn’t work not even a little cat finger while I try and concentrate, I take a deep breath and start to shake my arms like amethyst but nothing happened either and I don’t really want a little cat finger. 
“Well it was a good try”
i sigh “well it looks like we either both don’t have any shapeshifting powers or we just have to keep trying even harder” I say to Steven, who nods in return eyes filled with determination to gain a crystal gem power. “We’ll try even harder!” He says, amethyst snorts “yeah but from what your first attempt looked like Steven try not to poop yourself” I laugh silently, “well I got go visit dad again and stop by the big donut for my routine donut, you wanna come?” He asks us, I shake my head “I feel like staying here, don’t really wanna go out. Say hi to dad, Sadie and Lars for me” I tell him already walking up the stairs to my top bed. “Okay I will. Amethyst?” He turns to amethyst who was picking at her nose, “sure, plus I love messing with your dad, hehe let’s prank him” I hear amethyst say as they both walk outside and close the door. 
Now im alone. Maybe I should keep on practicing my shapeshifting abilities..

2 hours later

Sweat trickles down my face and I concentrate one more time. I feel my body start to tingle and form as a bright pink light shown and I grew smaller and all furry , I feel I still had my bangs covering my eyes. 
I...I did it! I actually did it! I started to pounce every where stumbling every now an again still getting used to walking on all fours. My long fur covered my gem. 
Shling~
that’s the warp! I look and see from my bed that it’s garnet and she was carrying an artifact of some kind in her hand. She opens her door and begins to walk inside. 
I hurry and run inside just as they closed. Thankfully garnet didn’t notice me in here for the second time.
i use my cat claws to climb up the tubes and lay on top of one and watch her throw it into the lava burning it. 
When she was down she was about to leave the room when I meowed, gaining her attention. She looked at me with slight shock that went away in a few seconds. I jump and land in her arms , 
“well how did you get here little cat? Did you follow me and snuck in here?” 
She asks sitting on the edge of the lava. I meow again and lay on my back, she cant see my gem that’s covered in all my fur. She goes and pets my head, Hey no wonder cats and other animals like being petted, it’s really soothing. She pets my stomach but she gets too close to my gem so I turn over so now she’s petting my back. “You remind me of someone” she says moving my bangs out of the way but I close my eyes in a cat like manner
garnet gets up and lifts me with both hand in front of her “I’ll call you Nora” I almost laugh at the irony but I keep it in ready to shapeshift back at any second. Garnet hold me close to her.
”can you keep a secret cat Nora ?”
a secret?? Should I listen? Wouldn’t that be wrong of me? 
“There’s someon-“ 
i was about to shapeshift back when I hear amethyst and Steven come down from the water puddle from amethyst’s room. “Hey garnet have you seen Nora-“ she goes to ask garnet but notices me in her arms, 
“aww you got a cat! Since when?” Steven asks walking up to garnet, she was about to answer when she was cut off by laughter from amethyst “you did it Nora! You shapeshifted into a cat, nice job girl” she congratulates , “Nora?” Steven says confused looking back at me, garnet looking just as confused.
i glow as I shapeshift back, I laugh nervously as I was still in her arms “I was just gonna shapeshift back heh” 
i feel a single drop of sweat roll down my face as she stared at me. 
“I think I heard pearl call for us, Steven let’s go back up” amethyst says grabbing Steven up and going back to the water puddle “but I didn’t hear anything!” He says even more confused as they went back into amethyst’s room. Oh stars, now garnet will think less of me thinking I was gonna listen to her ‘secret’ which I wasn’t gonna do! “Well I should go too, wonder what amethyst and Steven wanted” I say trying to get out of her grip but her hands wouldn’t budge, “sorry garnet I didn’t know you were gonna tell me a secret! I was just-“ she cuts me off “I didn’t know you were going to turn into a cat and come here...I could never predict you..and I was about to tell you...” she let’s go of me and I stand on the ground with only 2 feet now. “I, um” I start to say but she interrupts me again, “congrats on shapeshifting, you did a good job. Let’s head out” she opens her door and we both walk out. I see amethyst and Steven sitting on steven’s Bed watching a show, 
i walk up to them and garnet went outside muttering to herself. They notice me come up ,
”heya  so what’s up with garnet?” Amethyst asks, I shrug “ I don’t know actually, so did you want something?” I ask, “oh yeah we saved you a donut!” Steven claims giving me a powdered donut. “Thanks” I say to them and start to eat watching the show with them. 

Night time 
I’m laying in my bed, Steven asleep under me. I was falling asleep but right before I gave in to slumber my phoned made a soft ting sound, different from my normal notification sound. I look at my phone that was on my bed and saw it was a random link sent to me without a phone number. I clicked it and it showed me a site with a 90 minute video that said.

the next chapter will be released tomorrow! So here is ‘cat fingers’ I don’t really like this chapter but it gets better later on!
