I’m sitting on the counter as Steven looks outside. “None of the other gems are here” he says closing up the window, he walks over to me and starts to think, “what are you thinking about? Is it food, if it’s food I’m in.” I say, I haven’t ate yet. “That’s exactly what I’m thinking! Grab the popcorn I have an idea”, I go and grab the popcorn and all the other materials he asked, “what are we making exactly??” I asked even again I already knew, “it’s a together breakfast! Everyone comes and we eat breakfast together.” He says concentrating on putting the strawberry 🍓 on top perfectly. I hum in understanding “that’s wholesome” I say out loud looking at the ‘balanced breakfast’ that I’ve only seen on a screen in front of me, to avoid the whole mess I’m gonna try and make the gems actually stay, amethyst should be fine if I get pearl to not say she cleaned amethyst’s room, and pearl should be fine if I persist enough. Now that leaves garnet, maybe I can tell her to do it later? I think as I see Steven banging on the door for the said gems. Suddenly the warp pad activates and garnet emerges with a poster like object rolled up, I didn’t get to think up a plan! I’m gonna have to wing it. Oh,wait here comes Steven’s famous line, “garnet perfect, check it out! It’s not exactly healthy..but it’s in a stack so I guess you can say it’s a...balanced breakfast?” He joked but garnet stayed silent and the He stayed silent,

I couldn’t not laugh at the sight, “pfft, that was a good one” I say, “and I thought it up on the spot too” he says with a smile , I go and purposely block the door, “well what Steven is trying to say is that we made a together breakfast” I start to say, “yeah and if we could all eat together like best buds” Steven finished my sentence. 
Garnet looks at Steven then turns to me, “I can’t” she was about to open the doors when I interrupted her, 
“is it because of that?” I point at the deadly poster, Steven looks at it questionably. She nods , 
she opens it and me and Steven look in aw
“I have to destroy it”
, Steven was gonna take out his phone but noticed it wasn’t in his pocket, “where’s my ph-“ 
“I took it” I say sticking out my tongue. “ but I wanted to take a picture of it”.
I look at garnet, “it can wait for half an hour right?” I say wanting her to join Steven and i’s together breakfast. Garnet speaks again shaking her head “I need to destroy it right away” she goes to summon her door again with her two gems,but I grab them causing her to get surprised, “cmon, please? I really want you to join us..” I say to her griping onto her hands, she stays silent for a few moments, and grabs onto my hands with her hands too, “sorry” her thumb slightly caresses my hand to the point it was almost unnoticeable, “next time or later”, she let’s go and summons her room walking past me closing it behind her. Well that didn’t go like I thought it would... “aww” I hear Steven say from behind me sadden she didn’t say yes. The amethyst busts through the door formed into a cop with a water gun “dog police!” She sprayed into the direction of the together breakfast, Steven noticed and went to jump to use his body as a shield but it was all in vain since i leaped and protect the both of them, I’m always wearing a rain coat anyways. Amethyst started to laugh as Steven thanked me for taking the hit “I totally got you guys” she says as her head forms back”, I smile at both of them, “amethyst, your so funny” I say trying to wipe all the water off. Amethyst turns completely back to herself “I guess I pretty am aren’t I?” She says Cooley ,  “I knew that was you Amethyst “ Steven says “that’s a water gun!” , 
“you didnttt”

“so amethyst wanna join Steven and I-“ the sound of the temple’s door opening interrupted my question, I see pearl coming out of amethyst’s room with a sword, “hello, amethyst care to explain why one of my swords was in your room??” She says, amethyst sighs in annoyance, “well it doesn’t matter anymore, and also I cleaned your room since it was such a mess” pearl adds, making amethyst panic, “what?! I had a system!” She yells running back to her room to make it messy again. Steven sighs  , “what’s wrong Steven?” Pearl asks but immediately stops listening , focusing on her sword as she summons her room. “And nobody seems to be listening-“ 
“uh huh that’s nice” pearl says not really listening as she walks on the water in her room then dipping under.
”not you too pearl!” Steven says going to the door as it closes, “Wait” I tell him grabbing his shoulder, 
“huh?” 
I summon my shield and throw it in between the door forcing it to have a gap. “Wow! Good thinking now we can get in!” He grabs my hand while holding the together breakfast and we go through the door, pearl not noticing as she organizes her swords. I unsummon my shield causing the door to close , 
“hey pearl!” Steven calls out to her, startling her, “Steven? Nora?? What are you both doing here?? It’s unsafe! Here” she moves her hand and opened her door, “no we are all gonna get together and eat together breakfast even if I have to get my shoes wet” he tells her going on the water but yelps as the water was much deeper than he thought , “I’ll swim over!” He says, I go in too. “Steven , Nora don’t !” Pearl says but it was too late and the water pulls us under like a water slide, “protect the together breakfast Steven!” I say going up and down on the water slide, this is fun. Steven holds the plate stronger. Until we go into deep water and land in amethyst’s room, “hey Steven how did you not get the plate wet?” I ask , we were in water...
he looks at the dry plate “I..don’t know?” Hmmm... I shrug and walk inside amethyst’s room and see her , 
“Steven,Nora? Heyyy” she waves , “would you believe it, pearl went and cleaned my room!she always complains that I have her junk but they always come down from the waterfall “She complains to us “junk like what?” Steven asks “junk like you!” She grabs him and Steven laughs as she plopped him on a pile of actual junk “looks pretty messy to me” I say and Steven looks around and nods in agreement , “aw thanks I try” she thanks and kicks a pile of junk. She the notices the food on the plate Steven is holding, “hey what’s that?” She asked pointing at it, “it’s a together breakfast to eat with everyone “ Steven answered, “Ooh snacks!” She tries to grab them but Steven dodged her attack , “no it’s supposed to be eaten with everyone, that is the essence of together breakfast” Steven says , amethyst stays silent for a second and then said “gimmie gimmie!” Amethyst started to chase steven down a tunnel, oh, they left me behind. Aw well, I run down the tunnel as well and jump on the rocks which was a tad bit scary, I then reach them where Steven was on the crystal heart tube, “uh Steven I don’t think you should be up there” I say standing next to amethyst, “huh?” 
“Steven! Get down!,be careful we should be here, this is the crystal heart. It’s connected to the most dangerous parts of the temple! Hand on Steven and what ever you do don’t look down!” Pearl says coming from a different tunnel, upon hearing pearl say that Steven immediately looks down, oh Steven....same. 
“Oh!” Steven gets startled and slips causing him to go down “Steven!” We all say, 
i quickly jump down too, “Wait Nora!” I hear them say but then it faded as I go down the tube . 
“Steven, can you hear me?!” I yell down 
“nora?!” He says back 
“just hold on tight and I think you’ll be fine!” 
“Okay!” 
We fall to garnet’s room with garnet not knowing. 
“Woah..” we both say in amazement, I’ve been seen thesis irl before ... it looks cool, and it’s a little warm. 
We go down to the ground and pearl and amethyst sneak in shushing us, I knew Steven was about to yell so before he did I put my hand on his mouth making him mumble, “shh, garnet is concentrating let’s go for now” I whispered , giving Steven to pearl and put my hand back, “but-“ I put my finger to my lips , “shhh, when she’s done” I say more firmly, I don’t really feel like fighting some breakfast.. amethyst and pearl go up with Steven from where he came out of, I went on one of the tubes in the room and relaxed and waited until she was done. I lay back on the tube and look up and occasionally at garnet as she was slowly and carefully putting the bubbled menace in the lava. 

20 minutes later. 
She’s finally done, she was about the leave the room so I jumped down from my spot onto the floor, she got surprised “Nora?” I straighten up from my crouch like position and stretch, “if Steven still wants to , wanna have a together breakfast now?” I ask walking up to her, “hmm, how did you get in here?” She asks , I grin at her “that’s a secret” I say putting my finger on my lips, I let out a small laugh and pat her back 

“heh, you can open the door now”
she mumbles something and opens the door to see the rest of the gems / one human boy in the living room. 
I walk out first and then she walks out still mumbling to herself. I shrug it off, 
“hey Steven are we still doing together breakfast?” 
“No, we just ordered pizza” 
“ah.”
