As Iram rocketed forward, one of the undead behemoths met his charge, its deep roar reaching a crescendo as it launched a massive fist. As it closed in on its target, Iram suddenly weaved out of the way: a dark glint of metal flying past. Iram passed the behemoth without slowing down as it fell to pieces, and he flew straight into another behemoth. It didn't have time to register Iram's presence before it, too, was cut down rapidly, his Darkhearts a black blur. Iram was already moving long before that behemoth fell to the ground, falling upon the others with ease. Kaga tuned half of her mana to blood, and enhanced her senses, trying to keep up with Iram's speed. The behemoths looked so slow and sluggish to her heightened sense of perception, but Iram still looked incredibly fast, having hardly slowed down, even to her Hemomancy-enhanced mind. However, he is right in the middle of the throng, Kaga smiled, and mentally cast Corpse Explosion, then rapidly increased the speed of the spell.

As one, the undead behemoths suddenly bloated, their skin stretching and bones popping. Iram paused for the slightest moment, realizing what was happening, before the large undead exploded all around him. The undead behemoths practically detonated as the sheer force of the spell upon their vast bodies broke the sound barrier, covering everything nearby in acidic blood and gore. Some of the spray flew at Kaga, but hit a seemingly round, invisible barrier before any of it could touch her. She tried to spot Iram among the carnage, but realized he was no where to be found. She looked around wildly, confused. Then, she felt a slight wind brush against her back, and she didn't hesitate, casting a spell upon the socket where he left arm once was. A new arm, devoid of flesh and muscle started to sprout from the hole, and it reached out and caught one of Iram's Darkhearts by the blade inches before it struck its mark. Iram's momentum forced Kaga backwards slightly, throwing her off balance, as she gazed directly into the smiling face of death.

Iram continued to grin at her as he brought the other Darkheart over, slashing at her other arm. Still having half of her mana attuned to blood, she quickly put all of her concentration onto her right arm, and hardened it with every ounce of her Hemomancy. Her senses immediately began to dull, but she knew what to do as she used her enhanced arm to grab Iram's other Darkheart. It cut deeply into her flesh as it connected, but became stuck as a result from her spell. Gripping both of his weapons, Kaga rapidly spun, before letting him go and launching him straight into the air. As he soared into the air, Kaga re-attuned all her mana back onto Necromancy. She had read once, that the Frozen Wastes was also sometimes called the Land of the Dead, due to the sheer volume of corpses that lay under its snow from countless battles. She focused, and looked deep underground. She didn't have to search long as she found numerous corpses beneath her general vicinity. Smiling in satisfaction, she commanded as many as she could to rise.

She estimated at least one hundred skeletons and rotten corpses lay dormant below the surface, and she managed to call upon sixty-four of them. Kaga collapsed, gasping at the strain of binding so many undead to her as they clawed their way out of the snow, ice, and stone. Feeling her reserves of mana beginning to dwindle once more, Kaga realized she would have to finish this in close quarters combat. Using the last remnants of her magical power, she called all of her summoned undead to her. They quickly shuffled towards her, responding to her command. Once they were all in close proximity, she cast the spell Merge Undead. The skeletons and zombies began to liquefy, and join together into a greater form of undead. Before it could completely form, Kaga jumped into the mix, and tethered her soul to the new creature. Once the new undead solidified, she took command of its body, with her own safe embedded deeply within.

All of this took less than a minute to occur, and Iram landed just in time to gaze upon the completion of the newly formed undead. Despite having no lips, he whistled appreciatively as he beheld his new opponent. It stretched to its full height, easily towering over Iram by a couple meters, flesh covered its body haphazardly in patches, with bones jutting out almost like spikes. Each one of its massive limbs were made of several appendages, with skulls serving as joints. Sitting atop was a single skull, with skeletal hands protruding around the sides and behind, almost like an abominable cloak. The massive undead took a step forward, the impact shaking the ground. "An undead Juggernaut? Impressive." Iram instantly threw one of his Darkhearts at it, wasting no time as Kaga was undoubtedly having to adjust to her new body. "Let's see how well you can control it!"
