———— creole family craft

Elodie Creole could tell you the second her world stopped spinning. The second the life she knew went up in flames. She wouldn't say she lost her innocence because she never had any to lose. She was born to be a killer. The day she turned five she started training at the most advanced career academy in District 4. The academy had been coined "Creoles' Academy" as it was owned and operated by her two uncles, who had won back-to-back games. Creole was a name that held great power in not only District 4, but throughout Panem. The name was associated with victory, power, and luxury. She was something of a celebrity there; she was enrolled in the highest classes the second she was born. They only waited five years to begin her training so that she could keep herself upright.

Elodie was the third of the four Creole children. Of course, she was planned to be the last. Her younger brother, Kalen, wasn't supposed to be born. He, however, wasn't enrolled in Creoles' Academy. As soon as Eden Creole found out she was expecting a fourth child, she insisted this one not be trained like their three eldest. Nilo Creole agreed, only because he had insisted Elodie be trained. So, the eldest three were trained to be ruthless killing machines, while Kalen Creole spent his days living like any other child in District 4, his only tie to the victor's life being his last name.

It was known that the Creole's were physical threats, you had to be to win the games. Yet, the Creoles had always been more than a physical threat. They were more intelligent than any competitor they were put up against. On top of that, they were some of the most attractive trainees, to ever grace District 4's streets. There was a particular glow that seemed to follow their every move, screaming for you to give them your attention. Humble was not a Creole trait, however. When every move you made was followed by a mantra of praises, that changes you. The three Creole siblings seemed to always be wearing identical smirks.

Although the Creole children were all tripe-threats, not one of them was the same. Cadman was always sharper than his younger sisters. He thought before he acted, planning everything down to the tiniest of details. He was never one to let the anger get the better of him, compressing it down until it was the right time to act. Every one of his actions was sleek, polished, and effective. On the rare occasion that you would figure out what Cadman was going to do, he had already done it. He was always at least one step ahead. That made him a threat. However, while Cadman was paying extra attention to what his opponent was doing, there were brief moments of hesitation. Moments that left him vulnerable to quick attacks. Elodie was the first person to figure this out.

Maddyn was the strongest trainee in the entire academy. She never thought about the effects of her actions. Of course, she was smart, all Creoles were smart. Unlike Cadman, however, Maddyn was one to let her emotions control her (a trait inherited from her father). She decided what she was going to do while she was doing it. Maddyn wasn't one for patience, she acted immediately and erratically. You couldn't predict her movements or actions. That made her a threat. Yet, Elodie found the chink in Maddyn's armor as well. Though Maddyn's movements were aggressive and unpredictable, they couldn't last long. Maddyn was hoping for a quick fight with a quicker end. Elodie could beat Maddyn every single time if she made the fight last.
