This Is It

Chapter 28

        Harry's P.O.V.

       

        It is now 3:47 in the morning. I have not slept at all since I dropped Shaiden off a while ago. I really don't want to leave her, but my mom wants me to move back with her and I want too, but at the same time, I don't. I just wish I could bring Shaiden with me but I know she would never be able to do that. She has so much here. Her family, school, friends, and a great future. I remember her telling me all of her future goals. She told me she wants to be a professional chef, a singer, a actor, and many other things. As I am lying here awake, she is all I can think about. I didn't think it would hurt this much me leaving her. I was really hoping she would want to make this thing work while I was gone, but at the same time I see where she is coming from. At first, I was hesitant on this long distance relationship but I cared so much about her that I was willing to make this work. I thought she felt the same way about me, but I guess I was wrong. I just can't believe its over between us. I was really falling for this girl. Maybe we weren't supposed to last.

        I am brought out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. Maybe it's Shaiden.

        

        "Hello?" I answer anxiously.

        "What the Hell is wrong with you?" This is definetly not Shaiden

        "What are you talking about Stephanie?"

        "You're moving away? Why would you leave?! Do you not know how upset you made my best friend? She is crying her heart out right now and she hasn't stopped since you dropped her off. If this whole date was to get her hopes up only for you to crush her heart, you are never allowed to speak to her again."

        "No that is not what happened. My grandma died and my mom want's me to move back with her. I haven't lived with her since I was in grade school and when I visit her during school breaks. I miss my mom."

        "I understand that, but you broke Shaiden's heart and it's worse now than what it was when Mason broke up with her. Do you have any idea how bad that is? You know she loves you right?"

        "She loves me?" Why didn't she tell me she did?

        "Oh gosh. I thought she was going to tell you while you two were out but I guess she freaked out again. Shes been wanting to tell you for a while but she's been scared." I had no idea she loved me. But in all honesty, I'm still not completly sure if I love her.

        "I have to go now" I said really fast and then hung up the phone. She loves me. She actually loves me. Wow. This is just all overwhelming. I wish I knew what to do. I unlocked my phone again and scrolled through my contacts and stopped when I finally got to Niall. I hit the call button and it rings. I am beginning to think that Irish fool is asleep because he isn't answering.

        "Hello?" He answered the phone really quiet.

        "Hey man. Are you awake?"

        "Well I am now. What's up?"

        "Is there any way you could possibly come ove? I am kind of having a crisis" I heard him take a deep breath.

        "Yeah I guess I can. Be over soon." and he hung up. Niall always knows what to do.

        About 30 minutes later he got to my house. We both came to my room and sat down.

        "So what's the big emergency?"

        "Well it's a lot. First of all, I'm moving back to England and when Shaiden and I were out, I told her and I also told her that I wanted us to continue to date, that it would just be a long distance relationship and then she said she wanted to break up. Then a little while ago, her best friend called me and told me she loves me and is more upset that we broke up, than when her and Mason broke up. I feel horrible and to make it worse, I don't even know if I love her." I feel horrible that she loves me and I don't even know if I do back, but I can't fake feelings.

        "Wow. Why are you going back to England anyway?"

        "Family issues. But anywa, what do I do?"

        "Do you really like her?"

        "Of course I do. If i didn't, I wouldn't be asking for help right  now."

        "Then you need to show her how much you care before you leave. Show her that a long distance relationsip does work if you put enough effort into it. Do you think you would be able to live without her?"

        "I don't think I can man. She just means so much to me. I've never felt this way about a girl before and that's why I wanted a long distance relationship to work so badly. It hurts so bad that she just ended it without even trying."

        "I think you love her. I really do." Maybe I do love her. But I will only find out if I see her one more time. I have to get her back and it has to be before I leave.
