Close the door,
Lock away the key,
You hide yourself from all humanity,
Afraid to be you,
What if they hate you too?
Blood thirsty humans,
They're so inhuman,
Don't let them tell you you're not enough,
Darling being afraid doesn't measure how tough,
It shows you've got a weakness,
But only reveals your uniqueness,
Afraid they'll hurt you like the others,
Yell at you like your mother,
Surely you know you'll be okay,
You've just got to stay,
Put on a smile,
Darling, you'll be okay,
It's not easy,
Feeling the screams in a violent silence,
Knowing what you think is best,
But thinking you're a pest,
You're made without flaws,
You have a cause,
Oh baby, don't fade away,
Don't hide away in the shade,
Darkness only consumes,
You've got a spark in your heart,
If only you'd light it,
You'd shine so bright,
Everything will be alright,
Stand up through it all,
Show them you're tall,
You'll get through this fall.
Listen to my call..
Don't be afraid,
Darling, you'll be okay.
