*This scene takes place after the "Freddy" chapter and before the "School" chapter*
*Y/n POV*
I can't sleep. I keep tossing and turning in my bed. So I do the only thing I can think of. Go to the roof.
All I do is sit on the roof and listen to the sounds of cars.
"Y/n? Why are you on the roof?" A voice asks.
I turn my head to see Freddy. He's wearing a blue sweatshirt and pajama pants.
"Just wanna think." I respond.
He limps over and sits next to me.
"About what?" He asks.
"Anything, really."
"What about us?"
"What about us?"
"Y'know; like if we'll not get off on the wrong foot..."
"I hope we didn't."
"Friends?" He asks, looking at me for confirmation.
"Friends." I smile.
"Don't jump!" Freddy teases. "I shouldn't joke about that...sorry. I'm going back inside-where it's warm. Coming?"
"Sure, yeah."
We walk back inside I go to my room, Freddy goes to his. And I finally fall asleep.
