❄ Chapter Two ❄

As Kiara walks into the crowd, she kept wondering about what Kion had said to her. Her thoughts were jumbled up and her heartbeat was racing as she walks through the crowd with no clue of where she was walking to.

Suddenly a zebra bumps into her and Kiara tripped off and as she was hitting the ground, Prince Mheetu rushed to Kiara's aid and he grabbed her tail just in time.

"Glad I caught you." he muttered as he pulled Kiara up.

"Mheetu!" she smiled as they walked around in circles and they danced through the dance floor and they talked and chatted as the party goes on.

They soon rush out of the Grove and they ran around playing a game of tag. After a few minutes of playing they went back to Pride Rock then they sat down at the edge as they counted the stars that twinkled in the sky and they continued talking about their personal lives.

"So you have how many brothers, exactly?" Kiara asked curiously as she sat down beside Prince Mheetu.

"Twelve older brothers. Three of them pretended I was a hyena...literally, for seven months now, exactly." he responded as he slighty frowned at his fellow brothers back at the Shimmer Lands.

"That's horrible." she mused.

"It's what siblings do." he nodded as he grinned slightly at the Princess.

"Exactly. Kion and I were really close when we were little. But then, in one moment he'd just shut me out, and never knew reason why ever since then." she sighed.

"I would never, ever shut you out." he smiled at Kiara as she stood up and walked away.

She turned around then she smiled slightly while she looked away from the Prince. "Alright, can I just say something crazy?" she asked frankly.

"I love crazy." he nodded. "Alright then."

She walked close to him and she whispered in his ear, "I like you."

"What?!" he gasped.

She walked away quickly and she dashed off. He followed her as they chased off and they catch each other up until they tripped off from each other.

"Hah! Pinned ya!" he smirked as he pushed her in, making sure she doesn't run away but she did tried to get off then she did but was pinned again by him.

"Pinned ya again!" he teased as he sees the Princess in struggle.

"Alright, you got me." she rolled her eyes off as she got up and dusted herself off.

She stared at his auburn blue eyes and he stared at her misty brown eyes as they wander around to their thoughts that wished they knew that they're falling to each other's hearts.

Kiara walked in closer to him and she nuzzled him softly. He nuzzled back at her and soon, they layed down and began to feel their warmth from their bodies.

He looked at her with a smile that graced his lips then he licked her cheek.

Kiara laughed at the sudden kiss, which followed a blush deep within her.

"Can I say something crazy?" he asked which Kiara nodded aggressively. He leaned to her and he whispered to her ear, "Will you marry me?"

She gasped at that sudden proposal that Prince Mheetu did. But she took a back at it then she smiled at him, like she was ready to accept it quickly. She placed her paw onto his then she responded, "Can I say something even crazier? Yes! Yes, yes, yes, quadruple yes!"

They nuzzled each other tenderly as they accepted each other as mates and nothing can stop them from breaking this moment on.

Later then, they went back to Mizimu Grove as they rushed through to find the King and tell them about their marriage.
