...
You are sitting on the grass, dressed like a prince, black with gold stitching intricately decorating your coat. A woman is leaning against your chest, her hair long and flowing, is pulled to one side of her neck. You dip your head down, planting a soft kiss onto the exposed skin beneath her ear.
"I want to stay like this." Her voice is warm like honey, flowing through you. She has a slight accent, but you can understand her perfectly.
"We can." Your own voice also has an accent.
"No, we can't. They won't let me marry a mage." You can hear the pout in her tone; you somehow know that she hates being told what she can and can't do. She sits up, turning to face you by perching on her knees. You're entranced by her eyes, doe-like and sincere, that you can't even make out the rest of her face.
"What's the point of being a princess, a future queen, if I can't even choose who I marry?"
"I'll never leave you, m'lady. I love you."
She reaches up a delicate hand, cupping your cheek.
"I love you too." She climbs onto your lap, pulling up her gauzy and flowing dress so her legs can straddle one of your thighs, and you pull her closer, feeling when she begins riding you. She abruptly stops, turning away from you, a tear falling.
"Princess..." You breathe out, afraid that she's feeling guilty for giving into her carnal needs.
"I fear that the worst is yet to come."
You reach for her, to soothe her fears, but your arms grasp around nothing...the ground begins to shake, and she takes off for the castle, with you trailing close behind her.

⁂ Namjoon's Dream from His POV
You can feel the earth trembling. It has come to this. A sacrifice bigger than any magic you have ever done in your life. Everyone has been preparing for a fortnight in case it came to this. You had feared that it would, and it did.
You have written out the spell you will cast so you're prepared when the time comes, but still you fiddle with the scroll as you and the other mages wait for the Princess to arrive. She's out in the field meeting with the youngest of the mages, Jungkook, and Taehyung is waiting for them at the castle gates. The 5 of you sit restlessly around the table. Everyone is nervous; while the others seem to think there is another way, you know very well that there isn't. You can sense it.
