"The old rack shack?" Camila said reading off the text message she got from Harry with information of where the party was being held at. Camila shrugged her shoulders. "I have no clue where that is." Her phone dinged a moment later. "Oo, he just sent me directions. It's on Sumpter Road." I stopped curling my hair for a moment as I processed that information. "Sumpter, that's like fifteen minutes from here in the richy rich area."
"Do we really have to go? I don't want to go. I have a bad feeling," Camila said. I made a face at her and turned off my curling wand. "Nothing bad is going to happen, Camz. We just stick together, okay?" Camila sighed but nodded.
"You're just saying that because you really want to see Zayn."
"Possibly.. but c'mon, don't act like you don't really want to see Harry. Now, let's go."
It took us a while to get there and a while to find parking but we eventually succeeded. As soon as we danced there way inside, two jocks offered us drinks that we kindly declined. A guy immediately started to grind on Camila and she spun around and as instinct has it, she slapped him across the face. "I deserved that.." he muttered flexing his jaw as I yanked Camila through the crowd.
"I want to leave, I don't even see-"
"Harry, hey!" I threw my arms up. Camila turned her head and sure enough Harry was walking over with a smile on his face. "Pleasure to see you made it," he hugged Camila and gave me a high five. I wasn't offended. They started attempting to have a conversation over the loud music and I scurried off to get myself a drink.
The dining room was crowded and I could hardly move. I had to slowly inch my way through the sweaty bodies before I got to the table. It was an absolute disaster. Drinks were everywhere, all over the table and the floor. I dug in the cooler and grabbed a wine cooler, twisting it open.
I wasn't even gone that long but when I got back to the spot where I left Camila and Harry they weren't there. "You're kidding.." I started looking around but couldn't spot them."My own personal stalker." I slowly turned around, my heart already doing flips. Zayn was standing behind me and seeing him out of his work uniform and in a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up made me feel like I was already intoxicated. "I'm not a stalker." Zayn laughed and nudged me.
"You know I'm just joking around, right? I could see the fury in those green eyes." He took the time to notice my eye color. "You didn't come here alone, right? I remember Harry telling me your friend Camille was coming here."
"It's Camila, and yeah, she's here. They're here together, somewhere... I don't know." I shrugged. Zayn nodded and took a swig from his red solo cup. "There are a few spills in the kitchen, you might want to be careful," he winked. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"Can we not bring that up? I had to wash my hair about four times to get that god awful scent out of my hair," I explained.
"There you are, where's your phone?" A british guy asked Zayn.
"It's dead." Zayn pulled it out of his pocket and pressed the home button to further prove that point. The boy held his phone out toward Zayn. "Well, Selena's called me twice and texted three times and I'm sure she's doing it to the others so you should call her back." Zayn shook his head and shooed the phone away before downing the rest of the can and crushing it in his hand. "Louis, just tell her you're not with me."
"You get into one fight with your girlfriend and you ignore her?" Louis laughed. "But okay, I'll tell her I haven't seen you." I felt like my heart fell to the pit of my stomach and my throat go dry at the word girlfriend. Zayn ran his hand through his hair and gestured to his can. "I'm going to get another. Do you want anything?" I shook my head, not even finished with the bottle I had and that's when the crowd toward the front of the house started going wild. Everyone was scattering around.
