Kirishima POV
It's been 3 weeks sense (y/n) and Bakugou fought on school grounds, they didn't get in trouble thankfully. Bakugou told me he went easy on her because of her quirk and because she was a girl, which was good. He also said that she was stronger than her though which was another good thing, I've told him before not to hurt her because that wouldn't be manly or heroic.
"Raaah!!" Kaminari yelled behind (y/n) as he grabbed her by the waist making her scream in response making everyone look at her.
"I hate you." She said with a slight chuckle
"Love you too, (y/n)" Kaminari said with a smile as he walked over to his seat. Just then her phone went off, she got her phone out and checked it only to have her smile fade quickly.
"What's wrong?" I asked
She just ignored me and typed back to the person that texted her. Once her phone went off again she started to look worried and quickly texted back
"(Y/n)?" Kaminari asked
"What?" She asked sternly
"What's wrong?" He asked again
"Nothing.." She said brushing us off
"(Y/n), tell us what's wrong" He said as he started looking worried as well, just then her phone started ringing.
"I gotta take this." She said ignoring Kaminari as she answered it, stood up and walked out of the room.
(Y/n) POV
"Hello." I answered
"I had to take the job.." Dad said
"For what? Why did you need to take the job? You haven't taken a job like this is years, so why now?" I asked
"The job about a child that has been taken after their parents were killed.. Put yourself in the child's shoes, how terrified would you be right now?" Dad said calmly
"Extremely.. But that's not the point.. My point is I don't want you to risk your life with such a big mission." I said as I heard the door to the classroom open slightly, 'they're so nosy' I thought to myself.
"I won't risk my life too much, I'll act as though you're with me trying to save them.. Anything irrational I'll refrain from doing." Dad said making me worry way too much which eventually causes me to choke up.
".." I didn't respond.. I couldn't respond.
"You still there?" Dad asked
"I don't want you to go." I said while crying
"I'm sorry (y/n), I already signed up for it... I know I should've asked if you were okay with it, but I immediately signed up because I imagined that child being you.. I couldn't just sit on the sidelines." Dad explained
"Promise me you'll be safe." I said trying to calm myself down.
"I promise." He said making me calm down more.
"Okay... What about Rina?" I asked
"This weekend she'll be going back to America to see her family." Dad said
"So I'll be alone?" I asked as I sniffled slightly as I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion
"Yes, but I have the camera's set up and connected to my phone.. You know exactly where they are, so I'm only going to say this once.. Don't turn them off or cover them up so I can't see you." He said
"Got it... Um.. Can I have a few friends over then?" I asked
"How many?"
"Maybe 8." I answered "if they're all okay with it." I added
