Evan walked up to Haden's front door and saw the note and walked into the house. He looked around the house and saw that it was wonderful, and then he looked up the stairs and walked up the Haden's room. He took a deep breath and then opened the door. He inhaled deeply, inhaling Haden's smell, he smiled, he couldn't believe he was actually in her room. He then heard the shower running and began walking around the room, looking at pictures, drawings and found her music book. He opened it and saw that she was working on a new song, it was titled 'Innocent Love' he smiled when he realized that it was about him, although it didn't have any lyrics to it yet, he knew it would end up being great. He looked at the corner of the room, next to the closet and saw two guitars, on electric and the other acoustic. He walked over to the guitars and ran his hand over the strings and they sounded perfect in his ears. He then heard the shower turn off, ran back over to the bed and sat down and saw Haden walking out of the bathroom in her towel.
Haden walked out of the bathroom, looked up and said, "Holly shit Evan, don't scare me like that."
Evan stood up and said, "I only did what you asked me to do."
Haden pulled the towel closer to her body and said, "I'm glad you did."
Evan began to get closer to Haden, but she walked right past him and said, "I need to get dressed, either you can wait in the bathroom or downstairs."
"I'll wait down stairs, and remember we're going bowling tonight." Evan said, walking out of the room.
Haden stood in front of her door and sighed, she didn't want Evan to see her scars just yet and she didn't want him to see her do it again. She pulled her diary out from under her pillow, opened it up to a new page, pulled out the razor blade and cut into her arm this time. She cut and cut and cut and cut, until blood was dripping down on to the floor. She grabbed her camera, took the picture, placed the camera on her desk and walked into the bathroom and cleaned the blood up. She then walked back into her room, sat at her desk, plugged her camera in and printed the picture. She grabbed her diary and began writing.
Dear Diary,
Tonight I have a date with Evan, but I just cut and I really needed to. He came over to the house and walked into my room, we stood right in front of my bedroom door, I was in my towel and my scars on my legs were showing so I had asked him to leave so I could get dressed, but I wanted to make one more cut and now I'm just going to have to wrap it up so he doesn't notice it. Anyway, I got to get going, I'll put my picture in here before I leave.Haden put her razor blade back in her diary and put her diary back under her pillow. She opened her closet, grabbed her jeans, skull tee shirt and high tops. She got dresses, grabbed her phone and hoddie and began walking out her bedroom door and down the stairs, but stopped at the top of the stairs. She took a deep breath and began to walk down to meet with Evan, who was sitting in the kitchen at the island and waited, when he looked over his shoulder, saw Haden out of the corner of his eye and said, "You look stunning."
"Thanks, but I'm just wearing jeans and a tee shirt, not really stunning." Haden said, looking down.
Evan stood up in front of her and said, "I wasn't talking about the outfit, I was talking about your hair, but now that I look at it, I don't like it up."
Haden was going to saw something, but stopped when Evan pulled her hair out of her pony tail. Haden let it drop and shook it out a little bit, and then asked, "Better, now can we please go?"
"Much better. Now come on, let's go have some fun!" Evan said, walking out the door.
Haden followed, turned and locked the door and turned to face Evan's car, it wasn't a car at all, it was a red Chevy truck. Haden was taken aback when she was the truck, she thought he was going to have car, not a truck. She walked to the truck, got into the passenger side and waited for Evan to get in, but when she looked out the window he was talking on the phone and was still on the phone when he got into the truck.
