The next morning at Haden's house, one of her mother's friend from work had been calling all morning but got no answer, so she decided to go to the house to see if she was alright, but once she entered the house, she go a strong smeel of dead bodies coming from the upstairs bedroom, when she walked up there and when she walked into the room she saw her friend from work lying on the bed, along with her husband, dead. The woman ran out of the room to find Haden, but didn't find her at all, so she called the police and when the police showed up they started and investigation and tried to locate Haden, but in searching for her they had a hard time finding her until they got a tip that she was using her mother's credit card at a motel a few miles outside of town. The officers quickly jumped on the lead and drove to the motel.

Evan and Haden checked in and once they were in their room, Evan asked, "Haden are you alright?"

"Do I look alright? I just murdered my parents." She said, tears streaming down her face.

Evan walked over to her, wrapped his arms around her and said, in a soft soothing voice, "Sweetie, it'll be alright. I promise you everything will be alright, we will get through this. I will not let anything bad happen to you."

Haden sunk deeper into his arms, and as they stood there, in each others embrace, they heard a knock at the door. Evan answered and they were swarmed with police officers. Evan saw Haden being put in handcuffs and shouted, "Stop, your hurting her! No stop!"

"I'm sorry son, but she is arrested for the murder of Bill and Emily Turner." One of the officers said.

Evan knew that this would happen, but he didn't think it would have happend this fast and now that it did, all he could think about was how was Haden going to survive without him in her life?

Evan and Haden were taken to the police station where Evan's parents were waiting to take Evan home, but when his parents were telling the officers that he wasn't going to talk to them without a lawyer, Evan said, "No, I'll talk to them." His parents were silent as they watched their son walk into a room and be questioned.

Evan sat in the chair and the officer sat across form him and asked, "Evan, did you know that Haden murdered her parents when you went to the motel?"

"Yes I did." Evan said truthfully.

"Did she kidnap you?" The officer asked.

Evan leaned forward, "No. I went willingy."

"Why?"

"Because I love her and when I love someone, I do everything in my power to protect them. Plus her father was a monster to her and she deserved someone to love her and not rape her." Evan said.

The officer wrote something down then asked, "You do understand, that since you knew about the crime, you can spend time in jail for knowing about it right?"

Evan nodded, "I understand and I accept that."

The officer sighed, "Look, kid, you seem like a swell guy, but I don't advie you to have this girl take you down for a crime you didn't commit."

"Officer, I understand you want to help me out or my parents paid you a large amount of money to get me out of this jam, but I don't care what you or my parents think of my choice. Haden means the world to me and if that means me taking the fall as well, then I don't give a shit." Evan said, looking up at the glass that he knew his parents were behind, listening.

The officer walked out of the room and walked into the room Haden was in, sat down and asked, "Haden, why did you kill your parents?"

Haden looked up and said, "My father raped me and continued to rape me and my mother never knew and when she did find out, she didn't care, she just shrugged it off her shoulder and continued to protect him. I snapped and just killed them."
