Haden woke up to her alarm, hit the snooze and fell back into bed, she grabbed her phone, looked at it and saw she had four text messages from Evan, they read: "Hey" "Haden are you alright?" "Text me when you can, night" and "Good morning beautiful, I know you're not awake but I just thought that I would tell you that I will be by in a little bit to take you to school and then we'll stop by the coffee shop and get some coffee and then head to school. See you in a bit." Haden smiled at the messages, she couldn't believe that a guy she likes is willing to pick her up and take her for coffee and then school, wait, it's Monday? Haden looked at her phone and saw that it was Monday and she had to quickly get ready. She walked into her bathroom and saw the blood there from last night, quickly washed it away, took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, put on her makeup, got dressed, grabbed her things and then headed downstairs. She didn't want to walk past her parents and she didn't really want to see them, but she had no choice in the matter, so she took in a deep breath and walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning Haden, how did you sleep?" Her mother asked.

She shrugged and said, "Why does it really matter, you going to make me tell the therapist about my night?"

Her father smacked her shoulder and said, "Don't get sassy with your mother."

Haden rolled her eyes and then heard a car horn honk and said, "That's my ride, got to go."

As Haden was walking to the door, her mom stopped her and asked, "Who's your ride?"

Haden pulled her arm, pulled her bag onto her shoulder and said, "Just a friend, don't worry, I'll have my friend drop me off back here, get my car and meet you at the appointment. Love you by."

"Don't forget, your appointment is at 3:30" Her mom said, yelling after her.

Haden heard it as she ran out the door, into Evan's truck and said, "Good morning Evan."

"Good morning Haden, how was your night? I got a little worried about you when you didn't text me. Was everything okay?" Evan asked, pulling away from the house.

Haden didn't want to tell him the truth, so she just said, "Yeah, my mom got sick and needed me there to take care of her."

"Oh, alright. How about some coffee, looks like you could use some." Evan said, looking at the bags under her eyes.

Haden looked away and said, "That sounds good to me."

Evan nodded his head, they drove in silent for a moment until they made it to the coffee shop, where she saw an old friend of hers, who once her saw her getting out of the truck ran up to her and said, "Haden, oh my gosh! I haven't seen you in years!"

Haden looked to see who it was and screamed, "Mia!!! You look amazing! What are you doing back in town?"

They hugged and Mia said, "Business, how's your parent's doing?"

Haden let go of Mia and said, "They are great, what about yours?"

"They are doing wonderful, but we miss you guys." Mia said, holding her hands.

Evan walked over to Haden and Mia and said, "Hello."

"Who is this Haden?" Mia asked, looking Evan up and down.

"Oh this is my friend Evan James, he moved into your old house." Haden said, looking up at Evan.

Evan stuck out his hand and said, "Nice to meet you Mia."

"Nice to meet you too Evan," she then checked her watch and said to Haden, "I got to get going, but we should totally hang out whenever you are free. Call or text me any time Haden. Love you."
