This is prolly long overdue _(:3

Poor kid.

A glittering ball of light magenta, gone unnoticed in the midst of the shelves, floated towards the two sleeping boys. It hovered over Fang, and as glitter float onto his cheek, the boy's knitted brows smoothened. He leaned more into Boboiboy's embrace, and the other boy hugged back unconciously.

The ball of lighed sighed, then turn to drift through the walls. It has been long since it have set foot in these metal hallways, and even though it have longed to see the place again, it certainly wasn't in this form.

The ball wandered aimlessly through the space station until it ventured into a room. Compartments resembling one-man couches were installed on the walls with a huge cable attached to the top. These cables were funneled into a hole in the ceiling, where a low humm could be heard coming from it.

Some of the couch-compartments were occupied. Metal spheres of all size and color were placed within, and while some have glass domes covering it, the rest are completely susceptible to being taken in a moment's notice.

"What is this?"

The ball turned in a wide arc, leaving a fancy trail of glitter behind it. Floating behind the ball of light is a yellow sphere similar to those resting in the compartments on the wall. This particular one has a black screen installed on the front, displaying its expression. Two discs were installed on both corners of the sphere's top, flapping up and down as it hovers in the air. A pair of hands attached to tubes stuck out of the disc wings, and one of them is currently trying to touch the ball of light.

The ball veered sideways, dodging the sphere's hand. Don't touch me.

The yellow sphere blinked in suprise. "Oh. I didn't know you could talk."

The ball of light circled the yellow sphere. Your name.

"Oh?" The yellow sphere tried to follow the ball's movement, but it was just too fast. "My name is Ochobot. What's yours?"

The ball spiralled to a stop before Ochobot. I would prefer not to say, really.

"Oh, uhm..." Ochobot was at loss for words. He had not encounter anyone who would say that before, and was unsure of what to reply.

Fortunately, the ball of light save him the trouble. You don't look like a Powersphere of any generation. May I know your creator?

"Uhm, I'm actually a Ninth Gen." Ochobot wasn't sure if he should volunteer this piece of information, but the ball doesn't seem threatening. "I received an upgrade a while ago, which means I'm not one anymore."

Technically a Tenth Generation, huh? The glitter became more intense around the ball. Do you know that for the Tenth Generation of Powerspheres, the people of Kubulus intended to achieve semi-living Powerspheres?

"Semi-living?" Ochobot had not heard that term before.

Yes. The ball started circling again, and Ochobot found itself shivering. They intend to grasp souls and seal them in bodies of metal. Prolly think you Artifical Intelligents weren't enough.

Ochobot gulped. "Does that mean... Killing people?"

Well yes, I suppose. The ball lurched as if shrugging. Though it depends whose justice it is at the moment. We'd call it inhuman - or whatever the word should be. The Kubulus would say it's for science.

"But they never succeeded." Ochobot said. "Souls doesn't exist, so the theory didn't work."

Wrong. Glitter flared out of the ball, catching Ochobot by surprise.Souls exists, but the Kubulus did not have the technology to capture them. They have, however, manage to create containers for souls.

"But souls didn't exist-" Ochobot began, then jerked uncontrollably as the ball fluttered close. It fell to the ground, the black face-screen flashing in and out of existence.

Back on my planet, we have creations known as Golems. The ball hovered inches before Ochobot. Golemancers fashioned the bodies specially to hold one's soul, and the souls who inhabited those bodies are to do the maker's bidding. This Kubulus technology is no different.

"What... Are you... Trying to say?"Ochobot spluttered.

Your upgraded body is made of that substance. The ball inched closer, and the interference in Ochobot's circuit intensifies. Don't worry, boy. I won't hurt you. I just need a place to stay until this is all over.

"What is o-" Ochobot began, but the ball of light sank into its metal body. Ochobot's body tensed in short and quick shakes, then went still.
