This is long overdue. I am so sorry.

If my school closes down from the epidemic(which I hope is soon), I should have time to write more!

 "Fang?"

The boy looked up. Boboiboy was standing in the doorway. The room was dark, and the only source of light is from the corridor, but Fang knew that his eyes are trained on him.

Boboiboy looked around the room slowly. The pantry is empty, for it was just past lunchtime. The cooks should be resting up for the next rush known as dinnertime.

Fang had opened the dry goods cupboard, and is stuffing packs of cookies, canned food, and some vacuumed packs into a bag. Bits of fabric and metal stuck out of the bag, meaning there are other things inside too.

"Get lost if you're not helping." Fang turned back to the cabinet. He had just emptied an entire shelf, and is considering to empty yet another.

"You're going? By yourself?" Boboiboy stepped gingerly into the room. Ochobot stood guard outside just in case anyone else came.

"Yes." Fang slung the bag over his shoulder and closed the doors. "TAPOPS isn't going to save Kaizo, so I'm going myself."

"You're just going off like that? Without a plan?" Boboiboy asked as Fang marched past him and towards the door. "What if you died?"

Fang stopped by the door, staring into the space beyond. "Then I die saving him."

Ochobot's eyes flickered towards the boy for a brief moment.

"I can't let you get yourself killed just like that." Boboiboy stepped forward. Fang turned suddenly, a hardened dark purple substance sharpened like a blade pressed against the boy's neck. Boboiboy gulped, feeling the edge cut a thin gash in the flesh.

"Boboiboy!" Ochobot exclaimed, but did not try to move forward.

"I don't want to kill you." Fang said slowly. "But I would if I have to."

Boboiboy took a deep breath. "I'm coming with you."

"What?" Fang lowered his blade in disbelieve.

"I don't want Captain Kaizo or you to die, so I'm coming with you." Boboiboy said simply.

Fang regarded Boboiboy for a few moments, then lifted the blade. The material turned into a wisp of smoke, then disappear into the air. "This better not be a trick." He said.

"It's not." Boboiboy answered.

"You have five minutes." Fang turned and walk past Ochobot. "Pack some necessities. I'll meet you at the hangar."

"Where did Fang and Boboiboy go?" Tarung marched into the room.

"They went for spaceship-flying practice, sir." Gopal answered quickly. The Admiral's face looks like it's on fire, and Gopal certainly don't want to get on his bad side.

"Hmph." Tarung brought up the practice ship tracker on a panel on the wall. One dot is blinking on the map, and is flying further away from the HQ.

"They are taking the furthest route?" Yaya looked at the space map. "What are they practicing?"

"There is a signal-disrupting force field there." Tarung pointed at an area at the far end of the map. "They should be training to navigate through space without assistance from the control center."

Sure enough, the dot touched the approximate area, then disappeared.

"Why did they choose to go training now?" Ying wondered out loud. "Something's not right."

"Maybe to take their thoughts off Kaizo?" Gopal suggested. He's munching on some snacks, ingredient unknown. "Pretty sure that hit Fang really hard."

"Or maybe Fang just wants someplace to be alone?" Yaya voiced another guess. "Well, I'm sure they'd come back later, so let's not worry."

"From here, we could get out of TAPOPS' airspace unmonitored." Fang pointed at the holographic map on the dashboard of the spaceship, the other hand gripping tightly on the joystick. "They would need to boost the scanner to detect further reaches, but they won't do that unless they know the HQ is targeted."

Boboiboy nodded. He'd sat down in the spaceship's shotgun seat, but he had no idea how to drive. Ochobot would know, but he'd malfunctioned after they entered the signal-blocking cloud. His black screen flashed blue, sometimes purple, which is intimidating to look at.

"Pay attention to the map." Fang's voice broke through his train of thoughts. "I've never flew this far, so I need you to help me navigate."

Boboiboy traced the map. The planet Kaizo is at is about the same distance as from the HQ to Earth. It's a long journey, but they should make it with an hour or two to spare if they gun the throttle to the max.

"Bzzz!" Ochobot spasmed, his screen rebooting. "Oh... What happened?"

"You were out after we went into that cloud. Are you okay?" Boboiboy turned to look at Ochobot sitting in the back seat. His usual blue expression took on a tinge of purple, and his voice sounded shriller.

"The cloud is probably messing with your circuits." Fang explained, keeping his eyes on the space beyond. "We are almost out, so hang in there."

Right after Fang spoke, the spaceship burst through a light gray cloud-like barrier. Ochobot jolted, then worked his body joints.

"Where are we heading, this place?" Ochobot flew to the front and pointed at the holographic map. He is pointing at a murky-yellow planet, situated in another corner of the galaxy.

"Yes, there." Fang nodded. "I downloaded this map from the archives just this morning. Didn't know that it would come in handy so soon."

"That thing is years old, Fang." Ochobot said, reaching out to circle a space on the holographic diagram. "A fleet of spaceship crashed in the middle of your designated pathway two years ago, and there's debris everywhere."

"That means we would have to take a detour." Boboiboy did a quick calculation. "But that would take us another hour to reach the planet."

Fang's hands went slack on the controls. "...Less time for the rescue?" He asked, his voice trembling."

"Hey, watch out!" Boboiboy yanked the joystick, narrowly missing a meteorite the size of Gopal's head. "Ochobot, can you teleport us through that debris?"

"Through it?" Ochobot positioned his hands over the map, mumbling softly. "Should be able to, but with only enough energy to get us out of that place after getting Kaizo."

"And Admiral Shadow." Boboiboy said.

"We won't have time, Boboiboy." Fang retorted. He really just want to rescue his brother. Anything else is beyond his concern right now.

"if we have time, we rescue Admiral Shadow too, okay?" Boboiboy pleaded. He remembered the dream last night, where Shadow asked to be killed.

I won't kill her. Boboiboy decided. I would bring her back, just as everyone would have wanted.
