My Little Maximum Ride

Chapter 4

I couldn't stand leaving off with such a short chapter so here's Chapter 4. Enjoy!

I stood up on my four legs, head spinning wildly.
Wait a minute... four legs?!
I started to hyperventilate. What. Is. Going. On.
I glanced at Purpley beside me. She seemed dazed but not as confused as I was.
She was... a pony? The girl was a legitimate pony. Her body was a bright purple and she had a colorful star tattoo on her butt.
"This is all a dream. This is all a crazy, crazy dream," I whispered to myself.
"No it's not," Purpley said.
"Well, last I checked, I'm a human!" I closed my eyes and focused on breathing, trying not to wake up. Hey, if this is a dream, it's better than the School.
"Actually, you were a human," Purpley said in a sophisticated voice. "You came to Equestria through the mirror. Welcome to the Everfree Forest, just outside of Ponyville! I'm not exactly sure why the mirror was in your world, and why the portal dropped us in the Everfree Forest, but there's plenty of time to figure that out later."
This was way to much to process at one time.
"You've got a lot of explaining to do, Purpley." I glared daggers at her.
"I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship," she said, standing tall. She had a horn protruding from between her ears and the tip of her wings peaked over her back.
Wait. Wings! My wings! Do I still have my wings?
I snapped them out. Relief flooded through me. My wings were intact, yet... ponyfied.
"What's your name?" Princess Twilight Sparkle asked me.
"Umm," I stammered. I have to lie. This could be a trap or something. So, if these guys are ponies...
"Buttercup. I'm Buttercup." I mentally facepalmed. How original.
Princess Twilight Sparkle spoke up smiling, "Nice to meet you Buttercup! Allow me to share with you the Magic of Friendship!"
I had a feeling this could get interesting...
