These chapters are getting harder and harder to write. Hope this explains some stuff...

We decided to leave Sugarcube Corner to avoid making even greater fools of ourselves. On our trek back to the castle, Fluttershy attempted to talk with Discord, but he just stared at Fang and me with a sharp, knowing gleam in his eye. I felt uncomfortable under his gaze, and I was curious as to why he kept looking at us like that. It was unnerving. Pinkie bounced along humming to herself. I was baffled at how chill she was under the circumstances. Even clam-and-collected Twilight looked antsy. Rarity and Applejack whispered at the back of the herd, and Rainbow flew along above us. Fang and I kept exchanging looks but not talking. When we arrived at the castle, I was thankful our awkward walk was over. We gathered in the throne room where the princesses, Shining Armor, and a little green and purple dragon I assumed was Spike gathered. He was actually pretty adorable. I caught myself at that thought... Since when do I think anything is adorable? The years I hadn't been in action had really changed me.
The six ponies and Spike sat in their thrones.
"Ok," Twilight began, "this is all very confusing for everyone. I think I should begin by telling my side of the story and how I met Buttercup. Many unfamiliar ponies had been arriving in Equestria lately. They came out of the Everfree Forest confused. They didn't know where they were, what they were, or how they got here. I sent a letter to Princess Celestia, and she responded quickly. The 11 of us met here at the castle. I volunteered to go investigate. You see, I've been to that other world before. However, last time I went through a mirror. The mirror, for some reason, was on your side of the portal. There was a tree in the Everfree Forest where we observed the ponies come out from. I deduced that the tree was a form of the portal, so I rushed to investigate. My plan was to go through the portal and ask the locals about strange disappearances in the area. No sooner had I emerged from the portal when I see Buttercup frantically running away from some Timberwolves."
Spike interjected, "Timberwolves? In that other world?"
I sighed, "They're not Timberwolves." I glanced at Fang. "We call them Erasers. Part human, part wolf."
Horrified, the ponies stared at us.
"And," I added, "I've lied to you, and I'm sorry. My name, my real name, is Max, Maximum Ride. This is Fang," Fang gave me a surprised look, and I realized I must have blown his cover. I continued, "I guess I should just start from the beginning." I explained all of the misadventures of Maximum Ride and her Merry Band of Mutants. All of the ponies were appalled at the horror that was my life. Cadence had to exit the room when I began to explain the School and its practices. I hesitated when I had to explain why I was locked up in the School. [A/N: Totally making this up. Totally separate from the books. Just go with it. Sorry...]
"So, um, I was... We were..." I began intelligently. I didn't want these ponies to think bad about the Flock. I mean, four princesses! Talk about powerful allies... I took a breath, "So we were in our house, eating breakfast, when an Eraser crashed through our front door. I turned and began fighting it, taking it down easily. I think... And then I... Why... Why can't I remember? The Flock... They... They were gone and... They left... No they didn't they were there... I... Wha..." Everything had made sense up until now, but the more I thought about, the more I realized I didn't actually remember how I got to the School in the first place.
I was panting and sweating. My stomach churned, and I faintly heard Fang yell something incoherent. Or at least I think I did, because then down I went. With a crack, my body hit the floor.
