Highschool. The chiched regular book and movie topic. Of course it was
either a playhouse or a nightmare, every highschool no matter the
context will have the popular group, nerds, jocks, etc etc I think you
get the point. This was no different, the...
She plopped down on the couch, tired out from her previous task her breathing fluctuated from hard to soft until it finally settled down to a normal pace. He had forgotten about the fact that a girl was at his house, because he had fallen asleep after they got home.
He walked out of the closed bedroom door and went left, straight to where his bathroom was, not seeing the living room.
She wasn't asleep just yet, but the heat in his trailer left her in a shirt and underwear, see he didn't have AC he just had a small sad fan, that only moved the hot air around slightly
Her hair was up in a pretty messy bun, because she had to use a loose rubber band, no hair ties available at a boys house i guess. Loose hairs flew all around the midpoint of her hairstyle, some strands fell out in the back, but she couldn't care less at the moment.
"I still don't know his name... he doesn't no mine either.." She mumbled to herself, "Maybe I should ask...? Or maybe snoop?" She jumped up out of the couch and looked around for any sort of drawer, cupboard, something that a teenage boy would keep some sort of named document.
She thought he was sleeping so it seemed like a good idea at the time. Looking through cupboards was a fruitless search, so was drawers until she came across a paycheck with the name, 'Jordan'. She carefully inspected it until she felt a jolt on her sides.
"Jumper Cables!" Jordan chuckled out as she dropped the check, they locked eyes and he saw that she was going through his stuff, "Uhh.. what are you doing?" his face morphed into a serious and slightly angry stare, straight into her soul.
"I um- jus-" her sides still hurt slightly from the surprise he has just layed on her, "I wanted to figure out your name and i- i- didn't wanna wake yo-" she was cut off by a large warm hand placed over her mouth, "You couldn't of waited until i woke up?" his face softened to an understanding look, still locking eyes with the small girl, scaredly holding the check.
"No.. I wanted to know now.." she was disappointed in herself for being so nosey, he was right she could have just waited until he woke up, "Well I guess you know, my names Jordan." he chuckled slightly after saying that.
She held out her hand, "Cassidy" she smiled slightly as he took her hand and shook it, "I'm gonna call you Cass because that name is way too long to say" he chuckled and she turned around to put the check back in its respective place.
Cass's thin t-shirt lifted up slightly exposing what she was wearing, or lack there of, "Nice undies" he teased. It took her a second to realize what he was talking about, she shut the drawer and looked back at him pulling the shirt down, "CREEP!" she protested and ran to the couch, grabbing a blanket and putting it over her middle.
"Hey it was there, what was I supposed to say" he laughed so hard he almost fell over, she pouted and crossed her arms on the couch.
He looked at her frowned expression and pouted back, mocking her childishness, "Did I make the wittle pwincess angwy?" He tried to hold back laughter.
Cassidy looked him up and down, "WHAT did you just call me!?" She growled out, "Oh no here we go again.." Jordan rolled his eyes playfully and ran at the couch, jumping beside her landing half on and half off her.
"OWWW!! Your heavy!" She yelled out at the sudden weight on her, "That's just rude of you to say princess, you are in my house." He held the fact over her hear like she made him take her to his house, or even home in the first place.
Sorry this chapter is a bit shorter than I would've liked school was a lot today but I'm glad I was able to get more done! Thank you so much if you've been reading since day one or just started! Ily 💕❤️
