Highschool. The chiched regular book and movie topic. Of course it was
either a playhouse or a nightmare, every highschool no matter the
context will have the popular group, nerds, jocks, etc etc I think you
get the point. This was no different, the...
Jordan woke up before Cassidy and he noticed that she had cuddled herself into his chest overnight, he planted a kiss on her forehead and carefully untangled himself from her grasp and went out to the kitchen.
"Bacon pancakes makin bacon pancakes..." he grabbed the box pancake mix and followed the directions on the back. He went to the fridge and looked to see if they had any bacon but all he could find was an hold bag of deli ham and some moldy cheese.
"Fine regular pancakes it isss" he cooked about 6 pancakes, there was a tiny leftover one so technically 7. He went back into his room to wake up Cass for breakfast, but to his surprise all he found was a small sleeping Cassidy who was cuddled up with his blankets like a koala.
"Goood morning sunshine" he smiled and got no response small snores could be heard from the small girl as she slept through everything.
He walked over to her and picked her up bridal style, and shaking her like a baby with shaken baby syndrome, "Aghhh..." she groaned out at the sudden awakening.
"Good morning you literal rock, you could sleep through world war 3 and not even notice" he smirked and she rubbed her eyes, looking up at his twisted face. He carried her out to the kitchen and placed her on the same counter they had made good use of last night.
She yawned loudly, sounding like a dog, "Cutie" he smiled and handed her a small paper plate with three pancakes, one tiny pancake, and some syrup in the shape of a sad smiley face.
"I'm not cute!" She huffed and cut into the pancakes, not looks at him because she knows the exact face Jordan was gonna make at her.
"But you are" his face twisted into a devilish smirk setting his plate of food to the side walking over to her spot on the counter, his footsteps could be heard, because the trailer was not stable to the ground.
Cassidy kept her face towards her lap, picking carefully at the food making sure she didn't look up. She finally felt a hand placed upon her thigh, her eye drifted towards the newly placed figure.
His other hand drifted towards her face, only to receive a small slap to the hand, "Did you really want to do that?" His tone changed from playful to serious in a matter of seconds.
The hand that was supposed to be placed kindly on her chin now was placed against her throat, "Don't hit me" her face was instantly lifted up to face his, "Don't put your hands on me" she managed to mumble out through obstructed windpipes.
She pushed him back straight in the the other counter, jumping down she opened the trailer door and ran out. As fast as she could barreling towards her house to escape this man.
She arrived home and immediately threw Jordan's sweatpants off, throwing them into a corner of her room and replacing them with shorts.
Cassidy laud on her bed, trying to comprehend the situation, many thoughts circulated her head trying to think of reasons he was being so violent this morning. 'Why would he put his hands on me like that?' 'What was he even going for, was that supposed to be hot?'
Back at Jordan's place he was pacing back and fourth around his kitchen 'why did she freak out like that? What the hell is wrong with her?' His thoughts were mumbled out through gritted teeth, not understanding the gravity of the situation. Cassidy had told him she has a problem with touch, from the past.
"If she's got enough tolerance for play fighting and cuddling why can't she just take a joke" the tone still aggravated.
Cassidy was contemplating texting him or something to try and work things out, but she knew she shouldn't he put his hands on her in an aggressive way he shouldn't have done that.
Cassidy decided to just take a cold shower and forget everything, she sat on the shower floor crying her eyes out thinking that she ruined it with Jordan. He was the first person who had touched her like that and not taken it back in a matter of seconds.
The leftover mascara from last night ran down her face, as she rubbed her face the black pigment came off of her face and printed onto her hands, reminding her of weakness. She punched the wall of the shower, leaving a small dent in the linoleum.
Jordan's way of dealing with this was going to the boxing gym and duking it out with a sack of sand, shirt off, gym shorts on. As his pinched at the bag small beads of tears streamed down his face, most passerby's would just pass that off as sweat.
This was one of the most emotionally damaging things he had gone through since the loss of his mother and sister. He had only known Cassidy for a whole day and a half and had already fell madly in love, but in that same day in a half he had f*cked it up so bad probably beyond redemption.
Cassidy hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her petite figure, the towel being able to go around her almost 3 times. She stared at her reflection, not seeing the same happy person she was the previous day, she grabbed a small hand towel and wiped the excess mascara from her face.
She went into her room and put on a teddy fresh hoodie, some black jean shorts, and long black knee-high socks. She wasn't dressing to impress, she was dressing for comfort now. Secretly deep deep down she only wore the shorts just incase she came across Jordan in the street or at the diner.
Jordan ran home, still in a fit of anger and disgust. He hopped into his small trailer shower and took a very fast shower to just wash off the sweat and tears of the workout. He put on a regular grey t-shirt, ripped black jeans, and a black leather jacket.
They both made the wonderful decision to go to the local diner called 'Snake Eyes' the place was often used as just a wholesome place to get a good milkshake, but everyone in the town knows the secret drug ring ran underneath the establishment, hence the name 'Snake eyes'.
Well that's that! Are you guys excited for the fate of these two? I sure am! Thank you for reading on to this part ily! 💕❤️
