But Kartik didnt listen and the next thing I know I'm in his arms being carried as my natural reaction I looped his neck for balance..

Really she is fine, i'm ignoring her because the pain is visible on her face..

why did your grip just get tight" she looked at me with a tense look.
My lie just got caught I would not be able to walk especially up the stairs.
"don't worry I've got you"
He walked up the stairs with her, he entered her room.
Kartik held me securely up those stairs and here we are in my bedroom in my bed, ok not like that exactly.
He gently placed me on the bed.
"Thank you, it's fine now..I'll see you tomorrow" she said turning to her side.
I decided to leave as she made it clear she was feeling better.
"Ahhh!"
"Naira!" I raced to her and lifted the cover off her foot.
"Itni swelling" he said and started blowing on my foot.
It did feel nice actually I was in excruciating pain..
"Ek second" Kartik left the room.
now I cried the pain was awful it was throbbing I didnt even want to make the slightest movement the skin there has become so sensitive. I wiped my tears with my hands I'm not weak I can handle this pain I went through childbirth this is nothing. I felt something cold on my foot immediately I was feeling a relief.
" ab better feel Kar rahi ho?"
Kartik put something cold on my foot, I was lying down completely so I couldn't really see what I think it's an ice pack.
"Haan thank you"
It was really feeling better, even though I'm angry with him but at this point I'm grateful for his help.
She was in alot of pain but ma'am is very stubborn she doesn't admit things quickly doesn't like to trouble anyone, one of the qualities of why I fell in love with her..
"Bas Kartik, now I'm feeling better, mumma will be home soon"

I tried to sit up, but I was struggling, he saw that and came to me and gave me his hand. I held it and finally managed to sit up.
